What stood out most was his honesty. He explained that a torch-down roof, which other companies were pushing, wouldn’t last and would likely start leaking in just a few years. He even advised me to place my AC unit on a metal platform when the new roof is installed, as the current wooden one I have is not up to code—something no other inspector had mentioned. Not only was Adam honest, but his expertise was clear. While I’m disappointed that he doesn’t offer hot mopping services, I would have hired him in a heartbeat if he did. Unlike the two previous companies who were hired to do the same job...and botched the repair by only putting on band-aids, Home2Renovate came through by actually fixing my problem! Two company project managers sat with my wife and I and walked us through the process, explaining each step. They took photos of the damaged areas and pointed out other potential problems with the roof. After the initial signing of the contract the installation team came to the house the next day to walk us through their process, pointing out what will actually take place. The day of the repair, the crews arrived on time, had the proper materials, came with a crew who were all proficient in their positions and when finished, cleaned the area professionally. Later in the afternoon, the production manager came out to walk and inspect the repaired roof. He took photos, verified that the work was complete and had me sign off on the work. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs work on their home."

"I called 2 local roofers I found in the Yellow pages. Both gave well-defined estimates and both tried to get me to sign the contract immediately because they had "another crew in the area" that they could reposition quickly. (I did not fall for this comment.) Based on a referral from a friend I called West Roofing and spoke with Art. I told him the size of my roof and that I had contacted 2 other roofing companies. He said "Well, I can save you a lot of money." It turned out he was correct. It turns out that roofing material and procedures are controlled by both the state and local municipality; this means a permit is required to re-roof a home, there are specific requirements for materials, and a final inspection is required. So there isn't much difference in the end result, regardless of who does the job. I chose West Roofing because their price was about $7,000.00 less than the other proposals I got. They used the same level of roofing material, underlayment, flashing, etc. as the other companies, and the job was done in 2 days by a competent crew who cleaned up everything very well. The final inspection was complete with no problems - after the city inspector arrived about 5 hours late (of course.) Needless to say, I highly recommend West Roofing. If you need to re-roof you'll save time and $ by calling them first."
