I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. "Mike Turner came to my house for the initial estimate for the job.  I had water leaking into my finished basement through the joint where the concrete wall meets the floor.  It had become so bad that I had a significant pool of water in the middle of my basement.  Mike did a great job explaining why my basement was leaking, and why B-Dry's solution would permanently solve the problem.  He spent about an hour with me going over the details of the job, drawing up a plan, and letting me know what I'd need to do beforehand to prepare the basement for the job.  Not only was I impressed by his professionalism and knowledge, B-Dry's price was less than 2 other estimates I had from other companies. <br /> The crew that came out to perform the job were great.  They were friendly and courteous.  The work is pretty dirty, and they did a good job of minimizing the mess.  The job took 3 days, which was pretty quick given the amount of work involved.  They had to remove the concrete around the perimeter of the basement, install the drain system, and also dig and install a new sump pump. <br /> The system has been in place for 2 weeks now, and we just had a weekend of very heavy rain to the point where there is some flooding in my neighborhood.  My basement has stayed completely dry, where before I'd start to see signs of water a few hours after a rainfall.  I'm very satisfied with the system B-Dry installed and I'm confident that my basement will remain dry. <br />"

Everything from filling out the form online on a Sunday afternoon, to getting a phone call first thing Monday morning to see if I still needed their service, to being kind and personable over the phone, to a tech coming out later on the same day and replacing my water heater. Luke was my tech and he was super helpful with answering my questions and offering solutions for a separate issue I had with my condensate pump on my AC. Luke came in, along with his helper and not only got the job done but did it even quicker than estimated. He was incredibly professional and got me and family back up and running with hot water. Next time I have a plumbing or AC need I’m calling Dan Wood first."

"I scheduled an appointment for them to come out diagnose my problems. They arrived early and got to work right away. They found my pump motor bearings had seized up and the replaced the motor. Work was complete within two hours of their arrival. The weather was terrible, 4 degrees and they work right through it. About 2 hours later I last pressure again. Called them and they came back out and found where a piece of insulation got caught between the contacts. They cleaned it out and everything started working again. They were very helpful gave me a brief lesson on how do minor maintenance. Really, liked their services and would hire them again."

A salesman was let go so I had to make several calls before I found his replacement to get the second part of my job completed. They left a pretty big mess at my home as well as denting my water heater. They did a good job but I think someone should follow up to make sure the customer is satisfied and all of the work was performed correctly."

"The finished product (installation of drainage system/piping along the parameter of my basement) was done very well. However, I was told by the salesman (Bob) that the crew would remove the paneling before work commenced. I should have known that was too good to be true and questioned this but I didn't. The crew cut a foot of paneling off the bottom all the way around the basement parameter. If they didn't want to remove the paneling as promised, that's fine, I would have made arrangements to remove the paneling myself. Now I have to replace/cover all of the cut paneling, at an extra expense not anticipated (nor can I really afford). Also, at the end of day 2 the crew removed all of the protective plastic covering all of my furniture & everything in the basement, even though they had a whole entire day's worth of work still do complete the following day. They assured me that they wouldn't kick up any dust with the work that remained to be done. Totally not true. Dirt and dust all over my belongings. Plus there were a couple of little things that gave me pause (like forgetting to plug in the sump pump after they left on day 1 - the emergency alarm went off because it was going to overflow and I didn't know what was happening - I had to call a crew member on his cell phone to figure out what was going on - thank goodness I was home.) And they left a box of product in my garage that someone had to come back out to pick up a few days later. Everyone was super nice and polite, and I hate to complain about these things, but it was enough to leave me a bit disappointed."
