For some that might be more than they want out of a contractor. For me, it was exactly what I needed. Example: I was talking with Hal about another matter when we both happened to notice some rotting boards on our deck. I thought it was unsightly, but nothing serious. Hal persuaded me that, without immediate attention, the rot would spread to the joists underneath, and what was a small problem now would be a big problem later. He replaced the deck boards on time and for the price he quoted. I can now rest assured I won't be plunging through the deck this summer. Along the way, Hal fixed some off-kilter gates in our yard, and also consulted with me about some stains on our stucco (thus managing to solve a problem that had stumped several other contractors). He's always on the end of the line when I have a home repair question. He's been there for me for some five years now. There's plenty of quality workers out there, but not many who will listen as well, contribute as much, and return as often as Hal Morris."

"Neris was excellent. The products he used were quality and he applied them with a lot of attention to detail. They were always friendly, courteous and professional while working around the house. At the end we walked around the house together to make sure I didn't have any questions or concerns and make sure they didn't miss anything. He told us to call or text if we noticed anything moving forward as well. Everyone has been complementing how great our house looks, it's like a whole new house! "Justin and his crew were fantastic. No issues at all. We ended up changing the tile, nearly mid-job because Justin wanted us to, "love it." He gave his professional opinion and he was right on with shape, color and style of backsplash. We should've started with his thoughts and saved us all time and hassle. He too facilitated returning special order tile we bought outside of his recommendations. We had delays due to COVID19 and tile orders, but he still checked in and got the job done as expected. "I purchased the deal from Angie's list for driveway seal.
I tried to get in contact with the company for two weeks after that!!!
I called, left messages, sent messages through Angie's list website, nothing got their reply.
Then I called Angie's list asking for their advise. They reached the company and after couple of days me leaving voice messages, they called back and scheduled the seal.
People calling are very nice and very knowledgeable.
They came on the day they promised and sealed the driveway. 
Edges were cleaned and they did a very clean job, no over-spray on the concrete and grass.
However, they left grass in the cracks, they did not seal the cracks with different material like they supposed to. They did not seal the join between driveway and curb at all, and the seal was so thin that all the spots from original driveway bled through.
Also the adhesion was not appropriate at all. I waited 4 full days to drive on it, and still there are tire marks and many scuffs.
They advertise it as if they are using professional product like on parking lots, but it seams that they uses a very cheap product.
I tried calling the company to request a fix, but again - no calls or messages were returned.
I am glad Angie's list was decent enough to refund me the money!

"Ken Wilhelm did a fantastic job steam cleaning our shower. Initially, he emailed me a detailed estimate and then came out to look at the shower and get me a more detailed quote which ended up right in line with what he had originally estimated. He was incredibly professional, honest, and knowledgeable, even helping me find and order the proper cleaning products so that I could maintain the shower myself in the future.

When researching cleaners, I did get a much cheaper estimate but decided to go with Ken because he was much clearer in his estimate and I didn't get the feeling that the final cost would end up skyrocketing from the original estimate (which I suspected might happen with the cheaper quote).

The quality of cleaning was top-notch. The shower looks almost like new again despite its disgusting appearance beforehand. I would absolutely recommend Wilhelm Hard Service Restorations to anyone in need of steam cleaning or other work with natural stone. I'm sure I'll be calling him up again in a year or two when we need the shower cleaned again, regrouted, or even for a carpet cleaning."
