"Home Systems Appliance Repair did an excellent repair on my 18 year old panel-ready 42 inch Built-In counter depth GE Profile Refrigerator. The original GE tech who looked at the leak in the freezer evaporator a year ago, told me the refrigerator was non repairable because the "vacuum pump" retrofit part it needed was no longer available. After paying his $200 visit fee for a 2 minute consultation, he offered me a discount on a new GE refrigerator to fit which had not been built yet. Fast forward to now, GE does have 42 inch built-in counter depth Monogram side-by-side for $12,000 and $2,000 of Kraftmaid panels. Home Systems Appliance Repair cost me $400 to identify and fix a broken heat transfer tab in the freezer evaporator unit. I saved $15,000 - - not bad for paying Appliance Repair for a 2 hour job. "Within an hour of purchasing the advertised special, Henry from B A R called us to set up an appointment for service. He seemed knowledgeable and showed up promptly to our appointed time. After working on the unit for about an hour he determined that the unit had died and there was no hope reviving it - it was 14 years old after all. WIthin a few days Henry was back and installed our new unit. Around the time he installed our unit, our second unit died. We had him replace it as well. The work was done in a timely manner and we have been completely satisfied. We would definitely hire B A R Appliances again for our HVAC needs."

"I have good things to say about them, but I pay monthly. I am not necessarily sure I am getting my money's worth. Its a maintenance thing. One problem I have with them is because I couldn't get gas heat. The last time I had to call, they kept telling me gas was an appliance. Furnace is an appliance. It really doesn't make sense to me. I couldn't get them here, and I had to wait to go to BGE Home, and they didn't come for three days. The unfortunate part was it was the last chilly damp weekend. I don't use them but once a year. I don't have to pay the yearly thing, and I didn't have to pay extra. It was part of my monthly thing. The quality is great. They did give me a new thermostat. It was hard to understand why my furnace had to wait, even though I couldn't get any power. Since it was gas, it was an appliance. Made no sense. If they could have come when I had an problem. "We used Mega Kitchen and Baths for a gut renovation and remodeling of a home that we recently purchased. Mega did great work from design through construction, installation, and finishing touches. Ibrahim promptly met all of our requests, and their workmanship was excellent. Katherine Bradshaw was an invaluable resource. She helped us select all of the hardware, colors, cabinets, tiles, etc. We decided to go with Mega in large part because of a walk-through of the house with Kat and her drawings for the kitchen. In the end, we were very glad that we chose Mega. Kat was a knowledgeable designer who listened to us and provided great input throughout the process. Both Kat and Ibrahim were always accessible and returned all communications promptly. It was a big job but Ibrahim and his team finished on time (on a tight schedule) and were thorough about taking care of everything on our punch list. We interviewed a number of contractors and Mega provided experience, value, and customer service. In short, we highly recommend the company and will use them again for any future projects."

"Our twenty year old deck hadn't had any work done on it in 10 years and it was a mess. We even considered replacing it. Earl came to see me the day I called. He told us he could tighten up any loose boards, clean it and stain and protect it for $800.00. He said that we might want to change the wood on top of the railings for another $400, but thought we should let him see how well the old wood fared first before putting in the money.

When he was done Earl told us that the wood on top of the rails wasn't as solid as he had hoped, but would last at least another year.  He thought we should live with it a few weeks and then decide what to do. The deck looks really nice. We do want to have him come back and put on new top wood on for the railings, but we're going to wait until Spring to do it.

Earl was very professional and did a nice job on the deck. I would definitely recommend him to a friend and will have no hesitation calling him back for our follow-up work in the Spring."
