He was a little late on the start window but as soon as he got there, he got right to work. He was able to complete the work in about 5 hours and only one small trip to Home Depot in between. He was knowledgeable and made sure we were satisfied with the job before he cleaned up."

"I contacted the business to ask for an approximate estimate and time frame they could schedule.  I contacted through Angie's List.  I did not receive a reply from any of theother the vendors I contacted. I then decided to go ahead and purchase the coupon deal of $135 for two hours of handyman service, hopeful it would get some attention right away.  The advertising was $135 for two hours, purchase now and it would be scheduled within 24-48 hours.  Three business days later, I hadn't heard, so I emailed again, no response so I contacted Angie's List directly and they mentioned I had the option to request my money back but it would take time.
I was already out the $135 and I passed up other offers by now because I committed the $135.
Finally a message from the vendor.  "So sorry, we can do it Saturday" and I asked what time.  No response. 
Then I received an email, "you can request a refund, that's fine" and I emailed back, "you can't do on Saturday now?"
The vendor said he could and thought I was a different person.
Finally Saturday, I was given the window of his arrival between 12 pm - 1 pm.  Nothing.  I did call him and ask a questions about the length of the rods we purchased and I sent photos to his phone at 12:45.
No other communication, except a text at 2:00 pm "be there in 15"   but he arrived have hour later, himself and a female along with him to help.
The work itself is just fine, but honestly I regretted the coupon purchase as soon as I got it.  I regretted selecting that company due to communication problems.  I did appreciate he did the curtain rods and put together the closetmade organizer.  He was at my place for one hour, so I think they had the best end of the deal, but that is fine. They weren't rude, but not necessarily friendly.  I guess I expected some remorse over the late arrival and miscommunication?
Would I hire again?  No.  Would I recommend?  No.

"BGE Home beat the nearest competitive pricey a couple of hundred dollars. Their representative knew what he was talking about. He, and the crew that replaced the unit, were on time. The crew worked quickly, replacing the whole unit in a few hours. They respected our home, offering some alternatives for a plant that might have to be moved to allow access to the outside unit. The rep even offered to loan us 2 window air conditioning units free, because our unit had to be replaced in the middle of a heat wave and it would be a few days until they could replace ours. (We did not take advantage of this offer, as we were going to be out of town anyway in the interim.)"
