"I received quotes for three different options - the cedar fence, an alternative in vinyl, and a repair of the broken fence. The sales guy was very easy to get hold of and provided the quotes promptly. I went with the cedar and it was installed in two days. For some reason, the old fence posts had been sunk in concrete, and all the concrete had to be removed. The yard was cleaned up both days, and the fence came out really nice. <br> <br>18 months later, the fence still looks good."

"So far, so good. The fencing was installed. Our dog had some anxiety after the system was turned up from training to regular level. The trainer at the next lesson was very helpful with ideas for making the dog comfortable and confident in the yard."

"By far the lowest price out of four estimates. Installation happened on scheduled date and at scheduled time. Completed when anticipated. Workers were polite and responsive to requests. Workers were very careful and deliberate about making sure top of fence was level all around and looked professional. However, ground was uneven around the pool so in several places the gap between the ground and the bottom of the fence was greater than allowed by "code". Workers did not recognize this as a problem and did not independently take action to correct this, nor did anyone at a management level inspect the fence when completed to insure that it was up to "code". On the other hand, when this was brought to the attention of management, they were very responsive and immediately took action to inspect the fence and proposed an acceptable solution at no additional cost to us. Within a reasonably short period of time, Berkshire Fence brought in dirt and raised ground level around pool to be even on all sides, leaving less than four inches between ground and pool fence (according to "code"), and then reseeded the lawn. Seeding was not professionally done. Soil was not loosened before seeding and seed was not evenly disbursed. Grass grew back very splotchy with many bare spots. Berkshire Fence then reseeded the bare spots at no additional cost to us. Fence looks great now."

"I had worked with a contractor on a previous large remodeling project, which I was extremely happy with. Since then he had aligned his business with BuildItForU2. <br /> The project was to replace all the trim on my house with PVC so I would never have to paint, or replace, the trim ever again. Good plan and for what my previous contractor did, a good price for that level of craftsmanship. The new company was very professional in establishing quotes and visiting my house. However, the demo team and the installation team were two different subcontractors that I don't think were used before by BuildItForU2. <br /> The demo team cracked some of my window casings on the inside that required some maintenance. The subcontractor stated that it wasn't their doing, but the BuildItForItForU2 guy came out and made sure the problem was fixed. After the demo, the team that installed the trim scraped some of the PVC, which can be seen and may now need to be painted to cover the extensive blemishes. Most of the work was good. <br /> My major complaint was that they should have installed unmarked materials. After numerous back-and-forths, I paid the contractor everything but a remaining $500, and that was the last contact that was made.I think I would use the contractor again based on his professionalism. However, I would make sure to meet his subcontractors to make sure they fully understood the need not to use blemished materials. If the project was to install white trim that would never need to be painted, then there should not be black streaks and other marks on portions of the trim. <br /> I think the main contractor understood that, but the subcontractor did not. I think the BuildItForU2 was a little frustrated that he did not have full control over how the installation went because he hadn't used that subcontractor previously. The $500 was about a 5% discount, but I would rather have paid the full price and have unblemished materials used for the project."

"With so many contractors to choose from, our decision to go with HomePros paid off. The attention to detail was good. We love our new kitchen, especially the tiled wall in back of the butcher block. Randal’s creativity with materials and colors helped us make our decision. We would recommend HomePros to any of our friends."
