I build custom shower pans using PVC liner so it's 100% waterproof which is a must .. most setters are using products like redgard that don't give that 100 percent guarantee that the shower pan is waterproof and leakproof I give free estimates I am in the San Jose area. I do from full kitchen remodels to slabs floors outside decks, full bathroom, remodels, etc. have references and previous customers and numbers if needed to get a firsthand notification on how my work is. "The SGK office staff were very polite and helpful and the gentleman that came out to do the estimate was also very polite and very knowledgeable. He knew a lot of information about the windows that I didn't even know. He spent a lot of time going over different types of windows and how the different ratings could benefit our home and be better for our home in the long run. I did collect a few quotes and in the end SGK was not the cheapest but the quality of their product I feel is well worth the cost. I also don't mind paying a little more since they took more time to answer questions and go over their product in a way that the other companies didn't. Overall I enjoyed meeting with SGK and would consider having them out again for any future projects."

"I needed several things done: 1) Repair a broken anchor that secured shower glass to a half wall. 2) Replace the silicone caulking around the shower glass 3) Adjust shower door so it no longer grazes the half wall upon closure 4) Replace the door sweep They were very responsive in the initial visit to look at the problem and suggested just recaulking to secure the glass. I rejected that idea, as I didn't think it would hold for very long. They made an appointment to return a few days later. They arrived at 10:10 am, made all the repairs and left by 11:40 am. I thought the $800 price was a little steep and there were a few very minor issues, but overall the quality of the work was decent. The minor issues were as follows: 1) There was a lot of old silicone caulk scattered around the room after they left. I'd have liked them to vacuum the room. 2) There were a few places where the silicone was got on the marble and on the metal framing."
