"Acorn Home Improvements,Inc. did work on my elderly mother's home. The house needed new windows. The old ones were drafty and were hard to open. In addition to replacing the windows, we decided to have additional insulation installed in the attic. Both crews, one for the windows and the other for the insulation, were professional, polite, on time and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. It was a pleasure to deal with a company that was accommodating and completed the work as agreed upon. Mom and I found their pricing was very reasonable. Since I live out of state, I was not able to be there for the entire process so it's comforting to know that there are companies that are honest and reliable. When the project was completed mom was thrilled with her new windows and how easy they were to open and close. Further more with the proper insulation, mom found that her utility bills have decreased which is an added bonus for someone on a fixed income. "Myself and my father has used MJA Contracting for two roofs in our houses in Jersey City. Both times Manuel and his team has taken good care of us and installed good roofs. At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!"

"Matt Ayers and his crew did an excellent job gutting a 40-year-old bathroom and replacing it with a new shower, toilet, countertops, sinks, flooring and tiles. They always showed up when expected, worked around my schedule, were friendly, courteous and professional, and did quality work. A few of the workers did not have strong English, but they are very good at using smartphone translation software and there were no communication problems at all. All drop cloths, supplies and tools were removed from the job area each day and stowed away. Matt visited or followed up by phone or email on an ongoing basis. The only minor hitch was that the external tiling vendor sent a box of slightly warped shower tiles. This was corrected immediately with no inconvenience or added cost to me. The job quote was a bit of sticker shock initially but over time I realized you get what you pay for, especially after hearing about negative experiences friends have had with other home remodelers. Overall, very happy."

"Siding is beautiful. Gutters are nice. Our 2 day job took 2 weeks to complete. During install an exterior electrical box needed to be maneuvered so Siding could go behind it. This threw off electrical to a building that was tied to that outlet. No response from the warranty team other than pay an electrician to fix us and forward the bill for reimbursement. I asked for this in writing and got nothing. The gutter pitch is off and we were guaranteed it would be fixed with the installation of the new gutters. It was not and water drains directly onto an electrical outlet. The warranty dept is radio silent. The billing team was very quick to send us reminders, the bill, and more reminders."
