"Never judge a book by its cover WRONG Lesson learned once more! I reached out to HomeAdvisor for drywall/handyman help. Received a call within minutes from Chris and set an appointment for later that afternoon. Wonderful! We walked through my (rental) home and discussed what was needed. I got a verbal that it would be $1,200, easy. I text the to-do list to him, clearly indicating the work we discussed. Done, deal. I will buy the toilets and most material! The work was done, plus more! Great, right! Well, you think that would be a good thing until being presented with a $3,300 bill (now in writing) on the last day! Chris decided to change it from a flat rate to Per Hour rate! (Ha! I never would hire a handyman at Per Hour rate!) This guy also did the following to the home, when we NEVER discussed or agreed to do any of this. (Keep reading because the nasty stuff is at the end!) - He changed out 34 lightbulbs, (keep in mind, the house was already well- lit, he just thought they were old and tried charging me $10 per bulb!) - He changed out the electrical outlets to include the USB ports, (again, NEVER discussed this!) - He changed out a ceiling fan, (that he got from his garage. He installed it than charged for the product and labor! Never told or asked him to do this!) - He threw out a shower rod and bought 2 brand new ones, (we NEVER discussed this!) - I had fixed 2 cabinet doors from the kitchen and bathroom, keep in mind, it is merely 4 screws to put them back on, which I was going to do, but Chris decides to screw them back on himself and attempt to charge me $35 each! Seventy bucks for 4 screws! Extortion! - He saw lots of little holes in the walls (from nails/screws). He took it up himself to fill them in. Well, that was nice of him, because we never discussed doing this, however, not only did he fill in the tiny holes, he sprayed over all of them with that plaster texture stuff. Now, the whole house looks like patch work and needs to be repainted! There is so much more, but I honestly do not want to waste more time writing it. He just created more work and tried to charge for work we NEVER DISCUSSED! .....And it would have been left at that, if not for the cherry on top which happened next. Speaking of waste, because I made him reduce his bill, he decided to take the biggest, smelliest diarrhea crap in BOTH of the new toilets! Leaving the house smelling like the inside of his rotting intestines! Leaving his feces-filled toilet paper OUTSIDE of the toilet for me to pick up! Still, after 15 flushes, it was not going down and I prayed for it to not over flow! I guess that is what I get for leaving him a key and not hovering over him while he was there! His defense was that it was his son. Well, MoFo, YOU had a key to the house, YOU were the last one in the home! There is no way YOU would have been able to leave that home without doing a final walk thru....and gagging on the putrid smell that was once festering inside you, to which you decide to release in MY HOME, polluting the air I breath! DIGUSTING! FIVE STAR REVIEW and 20 YEARS IN SERVICE ! Not only is that definitely not what I experienced, here is 2 minutes of research: - Chris Madeo is not a licensed contractor, (even though he will tell you to your face that he is before the job, then after the job, he is not licensed). - Charles Madeo is a licensed contractor running his business Cam Wal with HomeAdvisor. Chris operates under this. You are Welcome!"

"Handyman Connection of Phoenix turned a total nightmare into something amazing. An Airbnb guest trashed my house, leaving major damage and massive stress. They jumped in fast, got everything repaired quickly, and had me back in business ASAP. My place looks better than ever—the work is outstanding. Gage, the craftsman, was friendly, professional, and did phenomenal work. Shelley and Jessi in the office coordinated everything perfectly and kept me updated every step of the way. Alan and Ryan, the owners, have built an exceptional, high-caliber team that truly cares. Hands-down the best contractor in Phoenix. Thank you for going above and beyond—I’ll be calling you first for anything in the future! This version is more concise (about 30% shorter) but still conveys genuine gratitude and all the important shoutouts. It should fit most review character limits easily."

"Joaquin and his wife came and corrected a multitude of small drywall issues in our home and at a reasonable price. We had accumulated a ceiling crack, small holes in ceiling from a lighting change, cracks in drywall from house settling, damaged drywall from water heater leak, someone may have hit the drywall fitting a truck into a place it barely fit in the garage... 😁 Joaquin corrected everything and did an absolutely amazing job matching the drywall texture. I'm a picky (pain in the butt) and was worried patching would look like patching. Nope. As a bonus, there was zero mess to cleanup when they left. Highly recommend. "

"AAA Drywall was one of the best one day job experiences I’ve ever had. Alfredo and his assistant came over and gave me a very thorough assessment of what would be needed. Chimney and drywall repair were done separately and professionally. Juan, the repairman that handled the chimney went above and beyond what was agreed upon. You just don’t find that kind of work ethic in today’s service industry. Great work, very reasonable pricing, AAA gets an A+ and a strong recommendation."
