"I contacted Gwyny in early July to come out and see what I wanted done at my house. She made an appointment with me and came to my house in mid July. When she came to see me I told her I wanted to replace the existing plants along my front entrance walkway with something colorful and elegant that would compliment the rest of the landscaping in front of my house. I also told her that I wanted to spruce up a bare area of dirt next to my garage in my backyard that looked unattractive and was mostly in the shade year round and I had been unsuccessful in growing grass there. Since I don't know a thing about horticulture I told her that she pick all the plants for this job. In early August Gwyny and her crew were ready to work on my project. The day they arrived they went right to work and I quickly ascertained that they were very skilled and experienced at landscaping. They were very careful when digging which I appreciated since I have outdoor lighting wires and sprinkler lines crisscrossing everywhere. The crew was thorough in preparing the soil for the new plants that were coming in. Gwyny clearly has a command of horticulture and knows what type of plants or trees will thrive in our climate under different lighting conditions. In conclusion I was very satisfied with her work. I gave her an idea of what I was looking for and she delivered right on point. Her selection of plants and shrubs was amazing and I get frequent compliments on my beautiful landscape. She is not the cheapest landscaper but is a classic example of getting what you pay for. I highly recommend her to my friends and family and will use her again! <br />"

"House looked lovely when done.  Normally I have used Robert for sprinkler repair and maintenance.  He has also trimmed trees for me. He offered to paint the house and I let him to the job even though it is not his usual kind of work because I knew he would do good and careful work. <br />"

"It went rather well. Paul was on time. After talking to him about my problem, he  inspected my sprinklers/timers and noted some problems. He inspected the timer and proceeded to turn on each station. As mentioned before, the front yard stations were not going off. <br /> He first tried it manually at the valves and they worked fine. He then inspected the timer and found that there was no backup battery, explaining that sometimes the battery (or lack thereof)  causes problems with the timer. After installing the battery, the problem still remained. Paul tried switching the wires at the timer, changing the stations. The front yard sprinklers still did not work...which meant that the timer was probably not the issue.   <br /> He then started checking out the wiring at the valves, tracing it back to the timer....where he discovered that the wiring had been cut (probably when the gardener was doing some trimming of a bush). After rewiring that section, he ran several tests and made adjustments to the time of day/how long the sprinklers ran until he (and I) was satisfied that the sprinklers were running as they were supposed to. <br /> Paul also checked the heads and replaced defective ones with replacements that were needed. He is very friendly and communicates well, explaining each steps. I liked that he was methodical....doing things in order to track down the problem. <br /> As he also does landscaping, he offered some suggestions on my landscaping and when I get some money together, I plan to hire him to do some landscaping work on some of the overgrown areas of my yard. I would recommend him to anyone that has a problem with the sprinklers. <br />"

"<p>Ric was responsive to my request for an estimate and prompt in arrival for the job.  He and his worker toiled relentlessly all morning to get the mature roses moved into an expanded and cleaned out bed.  The plants in the flower bed went into large pots to await the construction of a new raised bed.  An overgrown side bed was cleared.  The scent of manure was heavy in the air because they were careful to provide the transplantings a new healthy environment.</p> <p>Pro1Day was not the least expensive service, but I am glad that we went with them.  Quality counts.</p> <p>When the construction on the house is complete, Ric will return to build some raised beds and move the perennials back into the earth. He will also be adjusting the sprinkler system to accommodate the new configuration. I look forward to the next stage.</p> <br />"

"We called California Arborist to diagnose and treat several trees that appeared sickly. Derrick promptly came out. He was extremely knowledgeable. Derrick quickly diagnosed the problem and suggested a treatment plan. We had Derrick treat the trees as suggested. Wow!! The trees almost immediately responded favorably to the treatment. I've spoken to other tree "services" in the past and they invariably recommend to just chop down the tree. What a pleasant change! <br />"
