"Geno is EXTRAORDINARILY AWESOME!!! First off, i received 3 estimates from other roofing companies here on Angie's list and all 3 of them told me i needed a new roof costing between $3k - $3.5K. I was very sure i didn't need a new roof, just repairs and a good coating as i already have a rubber roof. Then i called Geno. Well, talk about caring and professional. He went up on the roof the very next morning. I never told him what the other roofers said. He called me the very next day after going up on my roof and told me: "Ms. Rosado, you don't need a new roof just some good repair and a good coating". "Now here is a very honest man"!! He did not try to upsell me. When he quoted the price for the work, i thought my hearing went bad". Less than 1/2 of what the other roofers asked for. This man is worth his weight in gold!!! As a woman i hate doing business with men because they often think women are stupid. Geno didn't speak to me as if i were ignorant of what my needs were and truly treated me as if i were his mother. He gave me the upmost respect. He is genuine and concerned about my needs. He told me when he could do the job and did it exactly as he said he would. He took before and after pics and showed me exactly what needed to be done. He showed me how my skylight was basically sitting on the floor and he sent me pics of him doing the skylight in progress. The leak i had in my back bedroom has stopped leaking. He placed new flashing where the roof meets the shingles. Geno even texted me after it rained to ask if i saw any leaking. He checks in on his customers.......who does this??? This man is a GOD send!!! He even threw in a new drain box at no additional cost. Talk about AWESOME!!! I gave my co-worker his info and will give his name to all my family and friends. I am absolutely happy with my roof and love Geno!! It's not every day that you find an honest man in business like him. Give him a try, you will NOT be disappointed. And if i ever need any roofing needs in the future, I will definately call Geno! "Think back to a time when contractors were very skilled, kept their word, showed up on time and did the job very well, this is what you can expected from Alexander, John and the whole team at Shaw's Roofing and Construction. My roof has been leaking and been “fixed” on and off for about 5 years but the problem always came back. Alexander explain everything that needed to be done to prevent this problem from occurring again and again. He was able to answered all my questions and kept in touch with me during the whole process. "I was referred to Summit Roofing by 2 separate friends who used them and were happy with the quality of their work and pricing. It took longer to schedule my job than I had hoped but it was because they had to wait additional time for the metal material to be delivered. Due to a lot of rain my job was delayed. To make up the time, Summit scheduled a crew to be at my home on a Saturday at 7:30am. They arrived promptly and completed what was originally scheduled for be a 2+ day job in one day! The workmanship is solid quality. The owner came by the day after the job was complete and walked around the house with me. He took care of minor marks on the house and replaced a piece of siding that has been damaged (no questions). Sean also persevered with me when something didn't seem right with the porch (metal) roof. He re-adjusted the height of my gutter to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with the job. I am! Only two things prevent me from giving them five full stars: the night before, the shingles were delivered to the wrong address on our street. In the morning, the crew was at a loss. We happened to see the shingles in front of another house up the street. Secondly, though we were told no sub-contractors, a compay from New Jersey installed the roof."
