"I hired Scott and the crew to clean up a really poorly-done tuck-pointing job. Scott's company washed the mortar stains off the brickwork, ground out the old mortar (someone used tile grout!) and then tuck-pointed all the bricks back to spec. Then they went around the bottom of the house and restored the decorative trim to like-new color and smoothness. Scott is extremely courteous, timely, and does what he says he will do. I'm proud to suggest him to you and to my friends."

"We had erosion under our outbuilding. We thought we could take care of it ourselves. After more than a year of continued erosion, we gave up and called Traditional Masonry! They were out to our house the next day! The concrete footer went right in the first day. The second day required some relocation of some dirt piles we had near the work site. On the third day, we had a beautiful new retaining wall! Things I liked: 1) The speed with which the work was done. 2) The skill with which the work was done. 3) The cleanliness of the workers. The place is cleaner now than before they came. They left no trash for us to clean up. 4) They did not smoke while on our work site. 5) They didn't play loud music while working. 6) They did everything they said they would do exactly when they said they would do it. It's hard to find a contractor who can meet all these criteria....But Traditional Masonry does! I highly recommend them and will use them again for some more masonry projects we have in store."

"The concrete pad is good, well built, well poured, and seems sturdy enough for my purposes. Any issues I had, Axel addressed. He always seemed in a bit of rush though, and I would have liked him to explain things a little more thoroughly, or ask clarifying questions. If I didn't ask a question he wouldn't bring it up, and would do something that would sometimes need correcting. NO large scale project is without its hiccups and not all of them were anything either of us could control. In the end, I got what I needed, in the dimensions I wanted, and to the quality I expected."

The brickwork required some extra strengthening which they noticed and repaired along with the sections I had asked to have worked on. "This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

Mr. Meneses ensured that the bricks and mortar matched the other parts of the walls exactly, including the width of the mortar. He ensured that the drain was protected so that no debris went down that might result in a clog. He and his brother cleaned up everything before they left. I would definitely hire J. Stone Design again."

"Joe and his team were a pleasure to work with.  
We had kind of an unusual project, but they jumped right in and handled it beautifully.  The project was set back by problems on the supply end (not the fault of Brick Solutions, but rather of Lowe's, who sold us a broken window) and Joe took it in stride.  He just moved us around in his schedule and everything worked.  (We were able to be somewhat flexible, which helped.)
When problems came up (again, with Lowe's), he returned text messages within minutes and gave me the confidence to move ahead in his absence.  
As the project progressed, we asked Joe to do other related tasks (like our steps and eaves), which he was happy to do at a very fair price.
The only drawback was that Joe & Co. don't  do any interior work, so we had to hire other contractors to finish this rather large project.  Not a big deal, but we would've been perfectly happy to hire Brick Solutions to do everything!
