"The contractor, Lonestar Siding & Windows, was located by me on my first use of Angie's List in May.  My wife had wrecked her car pulling out of the garage, and damaged the aluminum trim around the garage door.  Lonestar e-mailed me within 24 hours of my inquiry, and they were onsite to give me an estimate in short order.  The estimate was so reasonable, and the company staff were so friendly and accomodating, that I approved the quote right away.  Knowing this was such a small job, I expected the company would forget about me while completing their much larger jobs.  I was definately wrong.  They called me yesterday, 6/17/15 and said they would be out that afternoon to remove and install the new trim.  When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes.  The new installation was incredible...professionally done and absolutely perfect in every way.  I phoned the company receptionist right away and told her how pleased we were with their work.  I also advised her I would recommend their company to all my friends and neighbors.  All I can say is that this was the perfect contractor for the job, and if it weren't for Angie's List, I wouldn't have heard or known about Lonestar Siding & Windows.  Thank you Lonestar for everything!!  My garage again looks brand new! <br /> Joe Sands <br /> Manakin Sabot, VA <br />"

"I met with Mike Gundersen from Professional Home Services about a month ago. He came to my door wearing a mask and gave me a blue folder with business information. The estimate only took 20 minutes as he promised. He didn’t try to enter my house or pressure me. He gave me a price for my roof and my back sliding glass door. I got a few more estimates but decided that I was most comfortable with Mike. The roof looks amazing and I am happy I can open my back door! Mike and his team did an excellent job, everyone was very courteous and professional. Looking forward to having my windows done in the future."

"The process was quick with minimal disturbance to our kitchen. They were very nicely painted and look great. I would have preferred to be able to consult with the painter in advance, discuss the level of gloss in the paint, etc. For me it is strange to purchase something so valuable never having met the contractor before. Our email communication could have been a little more complete, and including even a stock summary of the process ( where the doors are painted, how many hours it usually takes on site, what we need to do to prepare the kitchen for you) would be really helpful to have. But in the end the work looks very good and has really transformed the kitchen. I'm very glad we did it."

"1st impression, they did not have shoe covers. they seemed to be in a rush. they were done in 20 minutes. this seemed to be to quick to clean an entire chimney. they did not clean the exterior clean out door. the fire place was cleaned with a vacuum and soft brush. <br />"
