"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. "We wanted to make our home more energy efficient. We went to 3 other reputable fireplace showrooms in Joplin MO and my husband and I were so confused by the "industry slang" that was used to describe our different options that we almost backed out of making any improvements. With the information he gave us we decided to go with a Pellet insert and we are SO happy with our choice. When our insert was installed 1 week later, our furniture was covered with clean tarps, our fragile decorations were put safely out of harms way, and we were even invited to watch the process with explanations! We were so blown away by the knowledge and care that these young men gave in their work that we had them do our stone mantle and hearth as well. All thru the entire process they cleaned up after themselves and when everything was done my living room had never looked better! Now that we have been using our pellet insert for two months, we have reduced our monthly electric bill by nearly two hundred dollars a month! We expect those savings to continue into the summer because now that our fireplace is updated, our cold central air wont escape thru the chimney!
