"Vasiliy is an amazingly talented craftsman with many talents and years of experience. Our nearly 100 year old deteriorating brick chimney was leaking water into the interior of the house and had to be repaired. Vasiliy came highly recommended to me by one of the best contractors in Portland, and I called upon him to fix it. The chimney was red brick, but Vasiliy suggested a lighter, golden color brick as it was more economical. Since our house is yellow, the golden color looked even better than red brick would have, and I saved money. The chimney is beautiful, and the repair/rebuild was so well done that Ithink it will last another 100 years,"

"They showed up on time and performed the task professionally. They even did some other little things to make our house more efficient. They answered all our questions and were very friendly and knowledgeable. <br />"

"Although Smokey's Stoves came prepared to do a complete re-pipe of chimney (as I had said previous company said they had found extensive damage) Shea and Zach thoroughly inspected my system and reported it needed no repairs whatsoever.  They arrived early and went right to work, and provided me with a written inspection report.  Shea and Zach are knowledgeable and professional, showing me he proper operation of this stove which was new to me. <br /> In short, they were honest.  They turned down an $1800 install job they said was completely unnecessary. <br /> (Consumers are at the mercy of such contractors, I sure wasn't going on the roof to see for myself.) <br /> Smokey's Stoves now has a new customer-for-life.  <br /> I strongly recommend them for Rogue Valley stove and chimney work, based solely on honesty and integrity. <br /> Please see my review of Chim-Chiminey, to avoid being scammed. <br />"

"When they came out they quickly noticed my fireplace had been converted to a wood stove insert and was unable to be swept or inspected. They ended up not charging me since they did no actual work. They were honest and upfront, and I appreciate that. It just made me feel stupid for never even looking to see there was a flue conversion."

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"
