"Rick did a wonderful job. He made sure every detail was perfect and he communicated with us through the entire project. We were very pleased with the results from the beautiful finish on the cabinets to the final alignment of all of the doors. He did a great job and it was obvious that he takes a lot of pride in his work. We would definitely hire him again."

"Five star experience. Patrick was easy to communicate with, got back to me right away on all things start to finish. The price was great and the house looks fantastic. He even worked with us on an aesthetic fix that really made a huge difference!"

"Jennifer Patten is a consummate professional! She did great detailed trim & column painting for us at our rental property. And she discovered an easy fix for a wall that looked really worn, which now looks brand new with a coat of paint! Recommended."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Grants Pass, OR

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
