"I’m very happy with the work of James Electric. I needed to have an EV charger installed. I was able to discuss the project with them (location, model, charger ratings, etc.). They offered opinions, but it was always my decision. I ended up with my Emportia charger mounted exactly where I wanted on the house. In the process, they also cleaned up several ugly circuits in the breaker box. The job was done quickly and efficiently, during some of the coldest weather we’ve experienced this winter. "Kenny arrived at my home to install a light switch and back patio light that was non existent at the time. Kenny was on time and very professional. I had purchased a patio light before the installation and had to return to work and left Kenny to do his work. Kenny called me and told me that the light I purchased did not have the brackets that it should have had. Kenny took my light back to Lowes and brought back a new one and installed my light. I arrived home to my new light and switch and he cleaned up the area as if no one was even there. I will use Bruton electric again! Great Job!"

"We had a massive leak in the shower of the guest bathroom. Since plumbing was one of the systems covered by our warranty with choice, I went on-line and filed a claim. I git an immediate response assigning me a claim number for reference and later that day received an appointment notice....GREAT customer service. The plumber arrived, at the time specified, and was immediately able to pin point the problem. (a defective shower cartridge) I have used Choice Home Warranty multiple times as my home ages and they pay for the replacement parts if needed. My "deductible" is a $45 fixed rate for the service call, no matter how long, or complicated the repair is. I absolutely am delighted with the customer service, fast response, low cost of a service visit, and NO surprises, or "fine print" excuses regarding coverage. They provide a list, in writing, of what is covered and what is not and do not deviate so I make sure my problem is on the list before filing a claim."

"Service guy came as scheduled. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."
