"I can’t say enough great things about Walter! He completed multiple projects in my home, and every single one was done with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail. From start to finish, he was reliable, communicative, and clearly takes pride in his work. He showed up on time, came prepared, and handled everything efficiently—no shortcuts, just quality craftsmanship. What really stood out to me was how he took the time to explain things, offered helpful suggestions, and made sure I was completely satisfied before wrapping up each project. It’s not easy finding someone you can trust in your home, but he exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for someone dependable, skilled, and professional, I highly recommend him. I will definitely be using his services again!"

"Jay did wonders on all the projects we ended up doing. I called him for pressure washing and ended up going forward with having him paint my interior walls after asking if he could help and showed so much care and dedication to the process. Jay did wonders with the pressure washing, removing 5 year+ stains that no handyman or myself could previously remove. And then helped me pick the paint colors for the house, prepare the area for painting with covering furniture, did an amazing job with the painting, and even helped me put the area back together. I will 100% be calling him for all of my handyman needs in the future! He takes care of your job like it's for his own home! Don't hesitate to call!"

"<p>Ever showed up on time, reviewed what needed done and went to pick up the necessary materials.  He started the project and worked cleanly and efficiently.  Clearly he understood what needed to be done and did not waste any time in completing the job.  When completed he cleaned up, went over the project with me which I approved.</p> <p>Ever knew what he was doing and I would have him back for similar jobs that I may have.</p> <br />"

"Tim provides excellent service.  He is knowledgeable, professional, courteous and punctual.  This is the second time that I used his service and he definitely doesn't disappoint.  He charges a fare price for his work.   In addition, he cleans up when he finishes and that is rare among service people these days.  I highly recommend Paradise Construction. <br />"

"Work only began one day ago; one week delay due to weather. Power washing work also delayed because well pump failed--I live in the country! Based on all how he has completed quite a few interior projects, including assembling small furniture pieces, I assume that the project will be satisfactorily completed. I like the contractor's demeanor and his willingness to accommodate added projects. That's all I can say for now. <br /> <br />"

"Went very well. Used kiln dried fir wood as opposed to wet pine you typically purchase at the local home improvement stores. <br /> Double K also installed fire blocks (not in original scope of work) that were necessary to pass the local framing permit inspection. Neal was very helpful assisting me with my design concepts and provided solutions to some design flaws that did not occur to me until he pointed them out. I would like to also add the drywall contractor asked me who did the framing because he was very impressed with the workmanship. I would use Double K Contractors Inc. again. Thanks to the Double K Contractors team. <br />"

"I used Mailbox Xpress some time ago (7-8 years?) to replace my curbside mailbox and post. He did an excellent job then at an excellent price. I wanted to replace the mailbox this year as it had gotten a little worn with use. Jim came by and gave me options for a new box. He determined it was unnecessary to replace the post. I ordered the new mailbox through Jim and it was here in less than a week. Jim came out, repainted the post, installed the new box, and it looks great. I give Mailbox Xpress the absolute highest recommendation on every aspect of the job."

"The company from initial contact to wrap up was very professional, punctual, and polite. The work was completed in a timely manner. The crew that did the work did a great job of both installation and clean up. There were a couple of minor requests that I had post job that were responded to and completed very quickly. The project manager was extremely polite and responsive to me. Price was extremely reasonable for the job."

"I hired Any Assembly/United Services Experts for the jobs. There were two men, who worked very efficiently and quickly to complete all jobs. The door does need a knob with the flange part, which was missing from the one I had purchased so the door was hung but without a knob. The kitchen cabinet doors needed different size hinges from the ones I had purchased. Ion showed me what hinges I would need to purchase and offered to go to Home Depot to pick up what was needed. I am planning on some additional work to be done very soon, including placing the door knob and missing hinges and I will definitely hire them again. They did a great job, showed up within the agreed time frame and are reasonably priced."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Great Mills, MD

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
