"The end job was excellent.  They came every day, stayed all day until the job was finished.  We are very happy with the finished product.  However, they did not return calls promptly and were going to leave the job unfinished.  By unfinished I mean they were going to leave without properly  installing all the shoe  molding.  They were going to leave a putty joint between the floor and baseboard showing.  They also charged us for the additional shoe molding which we believed was included in the original price. I do
recommend them justmake sure you include everything you want  written in the contract."

Since the premium carpeting we preferred was within a couple grand of hardwood, I decided to go with pre-finished hardwood. The next week it was installed in 2 days by a group sub-contracted by Empire. That group did an excellent job and the floor is beautiful and expertly installed. My wife and I simply sat downstairs and answered any questions that arose."
