"Gleyson was extremely personable and responsive, and his team incredibly hard working. I initially chose to hire Vellox over other contractors we had come out because Gleyson was the *only* one out of 5 who actually climbed up on the roof to check it out. Everyone else just stood on the street corner 50 yards away and eyeballed it. Maybe, as an expert, that’s all you need to do, but Gleyson certainly gave me a lot more confidence with his approach. Throughout the process, Gleyson was almost always near-immediately responsive, and also very understanding when we temporarily thought we’d have to delay work to deal with another issue first. I don’t even really expect ultra-prompt replies, but I don’t think I ever waited more than an hour for a response on any inquiry. The day of work, Gleyson and his team arrived promptly at 7am, and had the entirety of the work done within a single day - ripping off multiple layers of old roof, installing a new one, and adding vents/flashing throughout. Obviously, it’s a little early too early to accurately assess the workmanship, but you get the sense Gleyson takes a great deal of pride in his work and genuinely wants to do a great job - which was not the sense I picked up from other contractors - so I feel confident the roof will be as good as advertised. Two small negative marks: 1.) After paying a sizable deposit and being given an estimated start date, it took way longer than expected to receive shingle samples, and by the time we received them, we’d already surpassed the initial start date we’d set. I wouldn’t have minded simply being told they were going to get started later than anticipated or that he wasn’t going to make a drop off as expected. As it was, it made me a little uneasy that I’d handed over a sizable check and suddenly everything halted. 2.) With an older house, we didn’t have plywood sheet decking; just 1x12 planks with gaps between them. During the tear-off process, a ton of debris fell into the attic. Clean-up wasn’t a huge deal, but a little Googling around seems like this is a fairly common problem. Would’ve been good to get some warning on this just so we could at least cover up our belongings to shield them. Overall though, extremely pleased and would recommend Gleyson/Vellox’s services to anyone."

"1. punctual on estimate appointment 2. three estimates were solicited all were equivalent service for product two allowed for Owens Corning or GAF and were certified as was On Top 3. The date proposed was mid October but the actual work was much sooner (low slope roof) and completed in several hours The roof has now gone through several seasons without issue. "This is the second time I use Vaillancourt Roofing, and they have always been exceptionally professional. Brad Entrekin, the salesperson I have always dealt with is wonderful: knowledgeable, patient, punctual. So have been the team that does the work. In this specific case, Nick and Jay did the installation of the gutters. Their work is impeccable. They are very respectful yet friendly. If I was doing gutters I would do all possible to get the Nick and Jay tea However, in order to reach them you would have to go through the scheduler. I understand that the schedule is necessary in order to make the best use of the resources possible however, that has to be tempered with the needs of the client. Case on point, day before the installation date I was informed that the installation had been cancelled "because one of the installers was sick" and the work was rescheduled for 12 days later. I spoke to the scheduler and he had no interest in whether I would be available, convenience or any other consideration of what the effect of the change could have on MY schedule. I just had to understand that people get sick. That is - an administrative problem of the company was suddenly on my shoulders. This gentleman is extremely rigid and unsympathetic. Chances are that the job could not be done before but a gentler approach with the client will take him a long way. In addition, his attitude really erodes the exceptional work of the field salespeople. It is then left on the shoulders of the installers, to fix with the client what the installer undid. Once again, Vaillancourt has, in my estimation, first class materials to offer, a splendid salesperson in Brad, and an impeccable installation team with Nick and Jay. So, go for it. More likely than not, you will not have to deal with the scheduler."

We were impressed with Eli's thorough quote, attention to detail and competitive pricing. We ultimately hired them and Eli and Derek were very responsive and professional throughout. They kept us well informed during the whole process, which included prompt rescheduling due to a winter storm. We are apprentice of the professional, hard working and tidy crew. The roof and gutters look great ( and were immediately tested the day after installation with 60 mph winds!). We would not hesitate to recommend Beantown or hire them again."

"While insulating, foam sprayed through cracks into our bedroom and closets, destroying some bed linens and clothing. Their truck left before the insulation spaces were full, but they closed up the roof. It doesn?t meet building code. Our roof is featured on the Muto website, but not the scratches in the protective coating meant to ensure roof longevity. The scratches were made by a crew installing the ridge boards and chimney flashing. Their most experienced roofer said this was his first time installing metal chimney flashing. We called Muto 3 months ago and Jasen sent a drone over the house and said he?d ask the manufacturer and get back to us. We?ve sent two reminders, but we have heard nothing. We should have realized their inexperience at the outset when they couldn?t provide photos of completed metal roofs. We cannot recommend them for metal roofs or insulation."
