The result is beautiful! We also appreciated their care - they touched up base boards and made sure fans were blowing to minimize dust and fumes (which was suprosinly minimal). Z&M is a family owned and operated renovations company that was first established in Pueblo, CO in 2023. My name is Zach, and my partner is Michelle. We both have strong entrepreneurial mindsets and backgrounds. While michelle grew up in the philippines, she helped her family very closely run their engineering company, and also learned how to build homes from the ground up. My background varies from residential handyman work to working on multimillion dollar job sites. Right out of high-school I became a Glazer and mastered the trade advancing to running my own crews on amazing job sites all across Northern Colorado. Mine and Michelle's joint passion came into fruition about 4 years ago and we've dreamed of building the Z&M brand ever since. "Doug, the owner, was good at communicating and cost but his guy was not great. He had to lace in wood on both sides, and destroyed a lot of the wood that he pulled up, so we were left short of wood, and he had to actually rip some out of the closet and destroyed more of that than was needed as well. He left gaps and high points that I had to tell him to push down again. I'm not sure what to do with the large gaps now. The worst was that he left glue all over the place. I had to take off thick glue with my fingernail so I wouldn't scratch the wood and instead tore up my fingernails. Then, Doug told me to use mineral spirit which I tried unsuccessfully. Of course, the whole time i'm asking myself why I am on my knees after paying for this. I'm worried using paint thinner on the wood finish, but the floor looks awful! Every other person cleans up! He left a dusty dirty mess and a floor that makes your cry. "
