"Steve was a huge asset to our home renovation. We purchased a 30 year old home that was in need of some updates and refreshes. Steve showed up on the day we closed to get us a quote, and go over each item in detail. He came up with a line by line price for each repair we discussed as well as an overall total. We knew we'd need about 3 weeks worth of work, so as you can imagine, once we got into things, we needed to add this, remove that, and fix this other piece. Steve was incredibly flexible with our changes and was able to work around and with the other crews that were doing painting/tiling/etc. He stuck to his timeline, his price, and his word that he was always on time, and he would leave our home as clean as he found it. I've made sure to keep his number in my phone because I'm sure we'll have other things pop up, and I won't hesitate to call Steve for the job. In the end, Steve had cased in a pass through shelving unit and turned it into a wall, he made a false wall above our mantle so that we could have power and cable above our fireplace, he delivered and replaced all our toilets, he repaired a toilet flange that was too high, he removed our built in communication system and patched the drywall, removed an old built-in 'breadbox' attached to our cabinets, installed a new countertop on our wet bar, and the list goes on and on. All the work he did was top notch and we couldn't be happier with the end result!"

"This is lengthy because I have a lot I would like to say. This seemed like a daunting project for me. I have a large deck, partially enclosed and screened, and the rest open and exposed to weather extremes. The open part gets no sun in the winter so it's prone to mildew. It gets burning sun in the summer. The unenclosed space was in bad shape and needed stripping and staining but the enclosed space is ok for now. Marc "Sparky" Glinstra quoted the job back in April for what I felt was a very reasonable price. How do you do this project without making a mess of the inside? He accomplished exactly that and I couldn't be happier. The inside and outside are different color stains (planning to do the inside later) and there is absolutely no stain or overspray anywhere to be found inside and no screen damage. Even though this was quoted in April, the work was completed July 5, but that was no fault of Sparky. I had vacation, driveway resurfacing, and unexpected street paving going on and he was dealing with that along with stormy weather and rain for two months. When he started, he even threw in a chemical spray cleaning of some mildew on the back of the house for no charge, and also repaired some broken lattice. He kept a constant eye on the weather and wouldn't do work when rain threatened. The payment was less than the original quote because of the type of stain and stripping that needed to be done. When does that ever happen? He also knew we were having an outdoor gathering July 6 and made the deadline. This guy is good folks. Thank you very much Sparky. I really appreciate your honesty. I feel like I got a steal considering what I would have paid just for stain, not to mention the back breaking do it yourself job this would have been for me."
