Small jobs welcome

"Chris and his team updated and remodeled an old bathroom for us. They always arrived when they said they would and left the work space clean at the end of the day. Communications were very good and we were kept informed about any issues that arose. We are very pleased with the end result. It was a pleasure to work with Chris and we will definitely use Ayotte Solutions again."

"Highly recommended. Jose and Cesar were great. They were reliable and their work was excellent. They completely remodeled our condo including 4 bathrooms, floors, fireplace/hearth, etc. It was a big job and they worked with us to make sure everything came out exactly the way we wanted. The cost was very reasonable."

"Patriot Bath Remodeling (PBR) provided excellent craftsmanship, excellent quality of materials, and excellent communications for my bathroom remodel. I had a very small, dingy, claustrophobic shower (32" x32") in a very cramped bathroom (6' x 6') that was in desperate need of replacement. PBR took the time to understand my needs and the restrictions of the room and transformed the area. PBR coordinated all details of the project from getting permits, to delivery of materials, and to scheduling the plumbers, floor installers, and electrician. Every workman was talented, courteous and professional; best of all they showed upon time and made every effort to minimize the unavoidable mess caused by remodeling in a very old house. I HIGHLY recommend these folks!!! You won’t regret it!! "

"<p>It went well. They arrived on time and we had a discussion about the roof. I filled him on my questions and my concerns with a small leak I had in the upstairs bathroom.</p> <p>In about 10 minutes they were up on the roof walking around and taking pictures.  They gave me a review of my roof and what they saw as an issue.  They were very "just the facts" about it which I appreciated. </p> <p>They quickly diagnosed the leak issue as an aging, cracking rubber seal around my roof sewer vent. They put rubber cement around the faulty rubber seal to create a temporary workaround until it can be properly fixed. </p> <p>They found that I have 2 shingles that are being pushed up by the underlying plywood. They also sealed those where the shingle glue has stopped being adhesive to each other.  </p> <p>They also diagnosed that when my roof was originally shingled, there was no tar paper barrier put underneath the shingles, which was an eye opener. </p> <p>They inspected my dormers and chimney flashing and said that was in good shape. </p> <p>The inspection took about 1 hour, they answered a flurry of questions from me.  They said it was time for a new roof, which I already knew (about 20 years old now) and sent me an estimate including ridge vent installation and the overall cost.  He also sent me the pictures in email that I requested of the shingles and the sewer vent seal. </p> <p>The quote was in range with what I understand to be what the cost for my roof will be about: $7800.  I expect my roof to be in the range of $6500-9000 with estimates and this came right in the middle. It was a competitive offer. </p> <p>We are not ready to replace yet, but based on the experience, when we decide next year to replace, I will have them included in the bids as they were professional and DID solve my leak issue.  We have had several rain storms since and the leak has ceased.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I would recommend MMP based on my experience. </p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"It went great. Chris built our custom home exactly to our specifications. We lived out of state for the entire build. Chris maintained open lines of communication with us so that we always knew what was going on. His work is impeccable. His attention to detail resulted in our dream home being exactly what we expected when we hired him. His group of subcontractors were great throughout the entire process. I have not spoken to anyone in the area that has anything but praise for Chris and his work ethic. Chris came highly recommended by a number of people and I would carry on that tradition and recommend Chris Johnson for any construction project from a remodel to building a new home from the ground up. I would certainly use Chris again for any future construction needs."

"Patriot Bath Remodeling did a tub to shower conversion for me and matched my vanity sink faucet and marble vanity to the shower style and finish. I especially love my overhead shower head and the sliding glass Barn Doors. They make my tiny bathroom seem a bit larger. Their crews did efficient work and were experienced craftsmen . I would put them on your short list for any bath remodeling project."

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Greenland, NH

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
