"We moved into a new home with a deck that needed to be re-stained and sealed.  I researched several companies and chose Renew Crew of Pittsburgh North because I was intrigued by their unique process.  Dave came out to look at our deck and to explain what his crew would do.  He made a good impression and his proposal was competitive, so we contracted with Renew Crew.  Rich & Sean came out three weeks later to service our deck.  They were punctual, professional, courteous and respectful of our property--and they did a nice job.  The previous owners had used a semi-transparent stain on our deck but had use an opaque stain on the uprights.  Rich showed me samples of each stain they would be applying as the semi-transparent and the opaque would not match exactly.  I actually chose different colors for the deck and uprights, which made it necessary for Rich to come out a second time.  I appreciate his showing me the color difference between the two stains because it change what could have been a disappointment into a good outcome.  I appreciated his commitment to making it right for me.  I am happy with my deck and will call Renew Crew when it is time to stain my deck again.

"I hired Jason to install a simple ceiling trim as well as to install a new lighting fixture on a 20-foot ceiling. What I really liked about Jason is that he executed the work and did not cause any damage elsewhere. He built scaffolding, which is heavy, to install the light on my relatively new Maple floors and there was not a scratch. My consistent problem with most contractors is that although they can usually do the work, they cause things like floor scratches or marks or dents in the walls... there is usually some residual damage to having a project done. Jason executed the scope of work without a single additional flaw. His price was also reasonable overall. At one point I asked him to also install a new outlet to support the new Chandelier. He did it without hesitation or an upcharge. I know most contractors would have charged an additional 15 or $20 for that. I would hire him again"

"Sione, the owner, communicated with me from beginning to end.  He is actually onsite almost every day doing the work. They came exactly the week they told me that they would and were finished in 6 days. They checked in with me every other day, and more often when decisions needed to be made.



They cleaned up very well, leaving the property better than when they arrived.



I was so pleased that I had them come back and install a shed, build a railing, and repair my front porch. When they returned, they redid part of the wall which had moved due to  my French drain. He reconfigured the drain so that it would no longer flow into the wall.



My neighbors can't say enough about how beautiful our yard looks!

He is very intuitive and anticipates most any situation, and he can figure out a solution to anything. He takes real pride in his work and his efforts show. His abilities are many: cabinet installation, counter tops, hardwood and tile flooring, electrical and lighting, painting, trim. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen remodel. "This company did my mowing and “lawn maintenance” for spring /summer/ fall of 2019. The plan was for weekly mowing, weed whacking a sloped area every 2 weeks, and doing some bushwhacking ( pushing back rough weeds from one property border) several times over the summer. First of all, the bushwhacking never happened. The weed whacking of the sloped area was done sporadically, although I was being charged for it every other week. At times this area was knee high growth before it would get cut. I started to hand write on their invoices what work was done and what wasn’t, and would adjust my payment accordingly. I started to take photos to support why I wasn’t paying the full invoice. I tried to contact them via phone, voicemail, text, and email. No one every responded. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone."
