Small jobs welcome

"David and his crew were true professionals. We had hired another "contractor" to do this same work and we had to have them tear out the pavers and sent them home. David then came and did the work like it should have been in the first place and the patio looks great! I would highly recommend Mueller Concrete Services & Hardscape to anyone that wants excellent craftmanship and service at a reasonable price..."

"Renfro was outstanding. They first cleared out dirt (and a small tree stump) to create the proper grade. They were communicative throughout the whole job, and finished by cleaning up the area, making it look incredible. We're completely satisfied.  <br /> Renfro, being so good at what they do, are in high demand. So, get in touch with them early. They originally weren't going to be able to do our job for a couple of months, but an opening came up and they got us in early. <br />  Look no further than these guys if you need any concrete work done at all. A+++ <br />"

"I have used the company many times before. The pricing is a little higher but the quality of service is well worth it. They are extremely knowledgeable and great at explaining everything that needs done. They do a very thorough job. They have also planted 10 trees and did some major landscaping for the front of the house. Their entire crew does excellent work and take a lot of pride in their work. Scheduling a job is very easy."

"I had been to this nursery several times in the summer of 2010. They and the BEST selection of trres/shrubs that I have found in Louisville. The first time we visited we had a ton of questions on several different trees and the gentleman was so helpful. If he didn't know the answer he found it. He even got out a book to show us some other plants they could get that might fit our needs. We didn't purchase anything the first visit but had an excellent consumer experience. Once we decided on the last kinds of trees we wanted planted in our backyard we went shopping around for them. We found them no where except for at Berl's. Not only that but for a REALLy awesome price. We asked if they would deliver and plant them and what that would cost. I sort of balked at the cost of planting, so they made us a deal! Free delivery and $35.00 each to plant! They came out that very same day and planted exactly how and where I wanted. The workers were professional, personable, and friendly. I will be purchasing and using their services again and highly recommend them!"

"Tim and his helper were excellent. Tim came to give quote within a couple of days. Showed up when they said they would. Did a heavy duty seal coat on long asphalt driveway, repaired a spot on a walkway, and built a low curb for me (to direct rainwater runoff). They did a great job on everything, down to taping off some pavers on one side so they wouldn't get sealer on them. Gave clear instructions for eventual sealing of curb and repair area (new asphalt needs to cure), and left some materials for me for a small area I wanted to do later (after I moved some pavers). Professional and quality work. Everything was done well."

"Dwyer was outstanding to work with, they started on time, finished on time, worked well with subcontractors and our landscape architect. The work was completed in a quality manner and they took care to minimize the disruption to the rest of our yard. They quickly addressed any issues, including the replacement of a tree, which survived last winter but was not doing well... I would highly recommend Dwyer to anyone who is considering a major landcape/hardscape project. Their management staff is outstanding in their professionalism and understanding of how to get the job done. <br />"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Greenville, IN

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
