Get matched with top metal siding: repairer or partially replacers in Greenwood, IN

"Chris Sheets and the team at JD Hostetter did a full roof replacement and siding repair at our house after a storm in 2020. Then they did a full exterior paint job and added shutters in 2022. Both jobs were first rate and we couldn't have been happier with the service and the workmanship. I highly recommend them exterior house work."

"The replacement is of stronger material than the original materiel. Fine piece of carpentry."

"Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement."

"We hired Seven Star Improvement to replace the shower in our bathroom. We had gotten quotes from multiple contractors, but Seven Star gave us an excellent fixed-price quote and were way less complicated than the other contractors who quoted us. They removed our old shower and took everything down to the studs. They replaced any rotten or compromised wood and completely replaced the plumbing going into the shower. They even made improvements to our outdoor spigot that tied into the same pipes. They used all Delta fixtures and components, and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Also, working with Kenny was fantastic, and he was always available to answer any questions I had along the way. I am looking forward to calling Seven Star again for future projects!"

"We had a roof that was over 20 years old and had some damage from wind, rain and age. The Proshield team were very efficient in completing my roof replacement and new gutter installation. The work was completed quickly and the area left clean. The quality of the work is exceptional. George from their customer service showed care and concern for a satisfying job throughout, and made the process easy. I strongly recommend Proshield Roofing."

"Tom and his crew did excellent work on repairing, replacing and painting our exterior trim. Prompt, professional and courteous. Would use them again."

"I added or made changes to the scope of work (siding). Satisfied with work, guys are great. Wish they had more availability for more work."

I have been in the construction industry for 40 years. We do drywall repairs, whole houses, garages. We also do interior painting.

"The siding crew and the painting crew were very professional and the work was done on time as promised. David is very knowledgeable about construction and his specific business. They cleaned up after they were done and we've had tons of compliments about the new look of our house. Had one issue to fix and they came back and addressed as promised. Would definitely recommend them."

"Dustin, William, and his team did an excellent job on our project. For 2 years, we struggled to get anyone out here to even provide a quote. Dustin showed up in a timely manner, provided us a quote, and put us on the schedule in no time. Dustin and the team ran into multiple challenges when replacing our cedar siding with cement board. These challenges had nothing to do with their capabilities, but were a result of the weather, and the placement of our house. Dustin and team persevered and kept control of the project and timeline. Their level of detail is impeccable. We were extremely impressed with the overall results of the siding. The caulking and painting are flawless. We will hire Dustin and his team in a heartbeat just for the sheer fact that they showed up and did an amazing job. However, what truly sets Dustin apart from the others is his level of customer service! He constantly communicated to us even during the challenges, always answered our questions, and addressed all our concerns. Towards the end of the project, a small tree was slightly damaged by accident. He went out and found an identical tree, brought his young son and his friend, and planted this tree on their own time. Not only does he exude character and strong values, he leveraged this opportunity to teach his son and set the ultimate example. Dustin, William, and team, sincere appreciation for the outstanding service and work completed! We look forward to our next project and leveraging your expertise."
