"I have used Pacific NW Arborist's twice now. The first time, they removed two large fir trees, a maple tree, and a willow tree. The fir trees required the use of a crane. They spent one day delimbing the fir trees and removing the maple and willow. They returned with a crane to remove the remainder of the fir trees. All went very well and they did an excellent job of cleaning up the mess. The second time I used their services, they removed a large pine tree that had begun to lean and posed a threat of falling over. It took them about an hour to climb, delimb, remove, and clean up. Very pleased with their effort. All in all, I would highly recommend Pacific NW Arborists; very professional and reliable."

Milwaukie has a new policy for obtaining tree removal permits on private properties – one of the strictest around. Arregreen Tree Solutions worked patiently with the City, going back and forth between communications and amendments, as well as updating me of the permit status and the process along the way. When we finally got the green light, Arregreen Tree Solutions was able to immediately start on the project. The crew was efficient and thorough, and made sure there was no damage nor mess to the property, at every step of the way – even during stump grinding! "Crew did a great job! They had to cut down and remove a large pear tree (~50') in my backyard that was overhaning deep into neighbors yard. In the matter of only a couple hours they had cut it down cleanly without damage to fence/landscaping/etc. and cleaned up the debris. Chose this company because of their positive reviews and didn't hurt that they were the most reasonable bid I found. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work done."

"Daryl and Heidi and the crew did a spectacular job and finished all the work I had asked for (and then some) in an efficient and knowledgeable fashion: removed tree limbs hanging over a neighbor‘s yard, pruned and trimmed 12+ tall lilac trees, trimmed and shaped all bushes, removed deadwood from another tree, cut back and shaped an enormous heirloom rose bush, and cleared away all the debris. They took obvious pride in their work and I will be happy to have them back again next year!!!"

"Failed to return phone message first time (as did several others), arrived as scheduled for estimate, good disposition, not pushy, did not suggest unnecessary work. Said he would call me on Tuesday to confirm Wednesday work. Did not call. I finally had to call him on Wednesday afternoon to determine what was happening. Work completed on Thursday. During esimate visit, we had discussed removing dead branches of one tree and somehow that did not get into the contract specific. I failed to notice that omission and it did not get done. That omission made the cost non-competitive compared to other bids. Other trimming was as presented, neat, good cleanup. Stump cut up was left in ditch instead of felling in accessible, manageable location for our use (poor planning). I paid after completion, with the agreed upon understanding that he would return and work out a managebale solution for the dead limb removal. No followup action occurred, even after I called again and left a message. Poor followup and closure."

"Dimitri did a fantastic job -- he is very punctual, courteous and helpful. He cleaned the roof, applied moss inhibitor as well as cleaning the gutter and power washing the driveway and back patio. "I called several arborists for an estimate. EVERY arborist who came out said, "ahh! A challenge, we like challenges!" The others told me all the problems they would have to solve in order to get our tree down. One even told me they would have to take down part of my fence AND a major portion of my neighbors' fence 50 feet away(which had just been built!) AND THEN they would kindly rebuild it at my expense! Charming. Every one of them told me there would be damage to my ornamentals in the process, so to prepare for that. They all gave me estimates that were slightly shocking, but acceptable. The pruning estimates for the other trees were ridiculous. Jeremy came out, assessed the tree and location, then told me he liked challenges (yep, heard that before). Then, he said how much he would love to take the job, but he didn't have the right equipment. He could, rent the equipment, but assumed I wouldn't pay for it. When I asked his price without the equipment and then, how much the equipment would cost to rent, I was sold! Not only was his price lower than the others, he was willing to find a solution that didn't destroy anyone's property, with a very careful plan, so that no windows or neighboring trees would be hurt in any way. He also looked like he would really enjoy the task. When they came out, everyone was extremely careful and professional. I watched in amazement at how fast they got everything done. I think they planned 6-8 hours and got it done in about 3 1/2! The bottom line is: they were professional, fair, and knowledgeable. I would ABSOLUTELY call them for any other work I have in the future."
