After another company had said they would do it, but backed out at the last minute (said their crane was not large enough), I called Marquis. These guys seem like real professionals. I couldn't believe how quickly they set everything up, and then took down the tree, piece by piece. They have all the right equipment, and tons of experience with trees like ours, it was clear. Communications via email and phone were always quick, with quotes, invoices and payments handled conveniently online. Would definitely contact them again if we have any tree service requirements."

"Their timing was good.  Both David Czarnota and Leighton App came knocking on my door one January day when I had been thinking about extensive tree trimming/removal in my yard.  The pricing was good and the work was excellent.  I had several large trees trimmed, several smaller trees removed, and one huge but sick and battered sycamore in my front yard remove.  The work was done carefully and efficiently and the clean-up was excellent.  There was a disagreement about whether I had purchased clean-up of the sycamore's stump grinding but rather than argue or demand more money, Leighton came by one day and hauled off 4 pick-up loads himself.  I couldn't ask for better service!  I recommend these guys highly.

"Called Steve on Monday morning at about 9am. Tried to explain job over phone, Steve provided ballpark numbers and offered to provide a better estimate by going to the sites. He's in Burlington, we're in Newton and Waltham. He could have no expectation of getting the job but he was fully prepared to invest time and effort into a quote. By 10:30 he was back with a quote that was significantly less than his ballpark. Felt like a no-brainer, so asked him to please go ahead.

The following morning (less than 24hrs from first contact) he went to site #1 and removed the material there - he removed all material, swept the area clean and picked up some yard waste that we hadn't even discussed - A+.

I met him at site #2. There was a lot more material here. He set about sorting and loading it and I left him to his work. When I returned later that day - everything had been removed right down to the last splinter!!! - A+.
