"Hastings Concrete did an excellent job and I highly recommend them. My concrete driveway was 25 years old and needed to be replaced. The Hastings team came on a Wednesday to tear out the old driveway. On Thursday, they poured the new driveway and on Friday they cut the expansion joints. "This is a large complex driveway and it turned out incredible. Jasper and his team were great. We had an issue with the existing asphalt driveway that was not properly graded before being installed. A drain needed to be added in front of the garage to handle the drainage issue. Over the years landscaping including hardscape was added around the asphalt driveway. Jasper was able to eliminate the need for the drain by properly sloping the driveway to keep water away from the garage and house while also insuring that the existing hardscape and landscape still looked good. Jasper spent time thinking not only about the functionality but also the aesthetics of the overall appearance and the results speak for themselves."

"A warning about this concrete company. When we did business with them their company name was Madewell Concrete. Theyâ ve now changed to Concrete Driveway Company. At first everything looked good. During the summer we noticed a crack that goes completely from one side to the other. I contacted the company and was told they would honor the 10 year warranty and was sent an online claim form. I completed the claim form and submitted it 9/11/24. I promptly received a confirmation. We were told to expect a response within 14 business days. We waited until 10/4 and called. Were told the â production managerâ would contact us. Never heard from anyone. Called again 10/14. Told weâ d get an email from â Schedulingâ . No email info yet! Weâ ve been patient, but now think we are being put off because they donâ t intend to do anything about our problem. We want others to know about this company and their warranty practices. Donâ t fall for their sales pitch. Itâ s obviously worth nothing. Makes me think that maybe this is why they felt the need to change their company name. ð ¤"

"Tim and his father did a great job replacing a couple squares of sidewalk at our home that were done improperly by a different contractor. They got me an estimate and fit me in their schedule quickly, all while doing the work the right way at a fair cost. I would definitely ask them to do additional work in the future and recommend them if you need concrete or masonry work as well. They are also licensed in Columbus and insured. Before hiring any vendor to do work at your home, I highly recommend you verify both of those things. I came across a number of other concrete vendors who did not have either or both of those documents and some were less than forthcoming about it."
