"Wayne is a 5 plus star electrician. Job was to replace the a 1960s electrical panel. Great job!! Answered all questions, very considerate, prompt and returned calls, went above and beyond with quality and did all the small details. National grid Inspector Raved about how good and easy to inspect. All perfectly done. Highly recommend!!"

"My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Capital District Electric, and we can’t say enough good things about the owner, Eric Smith. We needed our dangerous Federal Pacific electrical panel replaced (search it). Through Angie's List, we contacted several contractors. Eric was the first to reply and the first to come over to give us an estimate. (One didn’t even bother to tell us they weren’t interested in the work.) We liked Eric right away. He’s professional, polite, and personable. He knows his trade and is very good at it. He was here when he said he would be and gone when he said would be, the place left absolutely clean. His work and work ethic are impeccable. I wish I took before and after photos of the two panels. The original one looked like a square bowl of spaghetti, with twisted wires sticking out the top, sides, and bottom. The new one is perfect with all the wires neatly entering the top. It was nice to deal with the owner of the company, rather than someone who’s just doing a job. It would be a big mistake to make a decision about Capital District Electric and Eric based on the two lowest ratings on this site. Obviously they didn’t have work done, and one doesn’t appear to apply to this contractor. They should be taken down. And No, we’re not related to Eric."

"Wes did a nice job with our panel upgrade"

"Alex o AP Link contacted us immediately upon receiving the inquiry we submitted. Within days we had an estimate and an appointment. He arrived on schedule and was professional from the moment he arrived until he left. He replaced our 20+ year old exterior light fixtures with the new ones we had purchased. Some adjustments had to be made to the existing wiring in order for all fixtures to be installed properly, which he did. Now our outdoor lights look great and are done right. We will definitely use AP Link the next time we need electrical work done."

"Very cordial. Explained all work. Very reasonable rate. Will hire again."

"Zach is absolutely fantastic. He is responsive, on time and very respectful. I am a single mom with a toddler and he is the only person I would trust to do electrical in my house. When it comes to safety, he explains everything and is very thorough. He is professional, and he leaves your house in better condition than he found it!"

"We had an electric car charging station installed in our garage. G&W Electric provided great customer service. They responded immediately and scheduled the job within days. The onsite job was done very professionally and in a timely manner. Mr. Koletas and his co-worker knew exactly what they were doing and handled everything very efficiently. We are very satisfied and can highly recommend their service!"

"We had a serious issue in a sub panel. Paul quickly and throughly identified and fixed multiple dangerous conditions throughout the entire electrical system that many other professionals missed. Paul took great care and urgency to insure our system was safeguarded for the future."
