"I can't say enough great things about Budget Appliance Repair! They repaired my older Thermador oven a while back, and their service was nothing short of exceptional. Instead of rushing through the job, they took the extra time to thoroughly diagnose and fix the issue, ensuring my oven was in perfect working order. Their dedication and expertise saved me from having to purchase a new stove, which I truly appreciate. If you're looking for a company that goes the extra mile with honesty, skill, and top-notch customer service, I highly recommend Budget Appliance Repair!"

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"Dan provides professional work. I didn’t feel like just a number that he had to “get to” for an appointment. He genuinely cared and that makes for a quality experience that I don’t normally find when hiring help for my home. 5 stars, would hire again and would 100% recommend. This business is above and beyond"

"Great. This was the 4th time I've used this provider, although I've been buying appliance parts from them for years. They've fixed my washer, dryer, and dishwasher. DAP has never been a no-show for an appointment. They've never charged unreasonable labor or trip fees. I no longer do my own repairs, so next time I need repairs, I'll call them first."

"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

"I called 6 companies and got estimates from all of them. This was the only company who came out and did a heat load on the house; climbed up into the attic to inspect the duct work; then gave me 3 options in writing including what rebates were available on each option, then they explained the difference between all 3 options so that we decided to go with a dual fuel replacement unit (Who knew this even existed?) After explaining what a dual fuel unit was, we realized this was only $200 more than the regular gas furnace we had; after rebates. They also went up from a 3 ton unit to a 3 1/2 ton unit. With the rebates this was the 2nd least expensive option. We were very pleased with their extensive knowledge and how they educated us, the buyer. Price was very good"

FAQs for fridge, freezer or ice maker repair or service projects in Gulf Breeze, FL

Most ice makers are similar in design, and some parts are interchangeable. However, if your ice maker has advanced filters or special features, it's best to use the same make and model to ensure everything works properly. Ask your appliance repair pro to check your appliance specifications to be sure.

With regular use and proper maintenance, an ice maker typically lasts about four to five years. If you keep up with tasks like changing the filters every six months, you might get up to 10 years out of your ice maker. Address any problems with your ice maker right away by calling an appliance professional to ensure you solve any issues before they escalate, helping to keep your ice maker running smoothly for longer.

Your refrigerator's age plays a big role in deciding whether to repair or replace the ice maker. If your fridge is nearing the end of its average 14-year lifespan, it might not be worth investing in expensive repairs since other parts could fail soon. Getting a diagnosis from a refrigerator repair pro can help you decide what's best.
