"Eric and his crew were great to work with and did a fantastic job. When we first met with Eric to discuss the project, we described what we wanted but didn't have a detailed plan. He was able to work with us along the way as the project took shape, making slight modifications where needed. Easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Also responsive - usually not more than a day or two went by without hearing something, and if so, he was quick to respond to a call, email, or text. The project experienced some delays (a week or two) but this was due to rainy weather and beyond their control. The work required installation of a lower retaining wall and filling the area behind it to bring to grade level with the driveway, installation of pavers for a walkway and patio, installation of a second wall using dry stacked stone, and installation of exterior porch steps with bluestone treads. They kept the work area organized, used the fill dirt left over from excavation creatively to build up some eroded areas, seeded and strawed impacted areas, and left everything in good shape. I recommend them highly."

"This was about the fourth time we have hired Chad Hurry for landscaping services. In the past, he did a curved paver sidewalk, circular large circular raised planters that coordinate with stacked stone and paver retaining walls in the front ditch and sides and back of our house, two patios on either side of the back deck, and total landscaping (with large rocks and plants) of the front yard. People have actually stopped and taken pictures of our yard. So, when we decided to add a walkway to the side of our house and remove a dying tree and re-landscape, we did not bother to call anyone else... just called Chad. Why mess with success?
Chad and his assistant, Rob, were extremely easy to work with. We discussed our vision and Chad sketched out his ideas based on that... it was exactly what we were thinking. They were friendly, professional, and hard-working. The walkway they constructed exceeded our expectations... it was far sturdier than I thought it would be. They cleaned up the driveway and work area at the end of each work day and completed the entire project in 7 days... extremely reasonable. We felt the price was very reasonable as well.
We have hired Chad several times and would hire him again without hesitation!

We could talk about what to be careful of, since we have a yard full of shrubs and perennials, and they listened. Would use them again, and probably will in the next year. "CSI was flexible and was able to schedule a home inspector the day after I got a bid accepted on a house. The inspector, Patrick, showed up on time and the inspection took about 4 hours. Patrick was responsive to any questions I had by email or live during the inspection. My one recommendation is that I requested a pest, mold, radon, and home inspection. It would be a better heads up if they explained that they sometimes outsource the radon inspection depending on availability of radon inspectors. Also, they can explain a bit more for new home buyers what is involved with a mold inspection. Patrick ended up just eyeing whether he spotted any mold. Because he did not see any mold, we did not have to pay extra for mold samples."
