"We had lost two large oak trees on our property and had five other mature oak trees with large "widow makers" high up. The dead trees would be felled, but no stump grinding was required. Four Angie's List tree services and 1 non-Angie's List service were contacted for quotes. All but one made an appointment to come out to our home, evaluate the task, and provide a quote. We selected Gordon Frazier Tree Service for our job. Gordon responded promptly and came out within a few days to give us a quote. We found Gordon to be very professional, easy to work with, and made good suggestions that helped to lower the cost of the job, which was a very competitive one. We liked that Mr. Frazier would be on-site and oversee the agreed upon work the entire time. Our dead trees and several of the trees with dead limbs were near our buried septic tank and sewer lines running to the septic field. Other tree services were still interested in using large bucket trucks as much as possible, while avoiding these areas. But Gordon Frazier eased our concerns by not using any heavy bucket trucks. Instead each tree was climbed by an individual using ropes who would remove limbs and trunk in pieces, tying the larger pieces to ropes so they could be gently lowered to the ground. The job was completed in one day. Overall they did an excellent job and we are very happy with their work. They arrived at the appointed time, performed all the agreed upon work as quoted, removed limbs and branches by chipping them, and cleaned up afterwards. We definitely would hire them again, and recommend them to everyone."

"David and his wife are great at what they do. I had a real tricky tree situation. Both trees were side by side next to 2 storage buildings and between electric line and telephone line and both dead, one eat up by Woodpeckers. A non professional could not have done this. I had several estimates some higher some lower. The things that made my decision was the trust he built from the first time we met. I never felt he was exaggerating or misleading in any way. David had insurance, one thing I believe, if you are having this type of work done, be sure they have insurance. Three of the five estimates I received did not have insurance. Pretty risky.







This was my first time to see tree cutting in action. Wow what an education. David took his bucket up to the top and started cutting the tree down. His wife and helper kept the area clean as it was falling. I big concern was the tree falling on my house, he assured me that would not happen. After seeing him work I understood how he could be so confident.







Clean up afterwards, excellent.

"It was good. There were certain things that weren't covered under the plan. I'm not sure if they cut the bushes down in the back around the fence. I had to pay extra for that. They should try get me to know the schedule so I know when they're coming and when they're not coming. Other than that, it takes time to get the workers together. I like Patrick and he's the owner. The thing in the firepit was included with the mulch but he said I had to pay for the materials."
