All said we would have to buy a new insert. We didn't want to do this because we're currently thinking about selling the house and didn't want that expense. Tom looked at the job and said he didn't see a problem with hooking it to our current wood burner. He did the job about a week later (had to order some parts). He did an excellent job and we're very satisfied. His proice was reasonable. Luckily he was able to do what needed to be done. About a week later we lost power for 6 days. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy! <br />"

"It was very noisy from inside the house, but the roofers covered my landscaping with tarps, moved everything that was mobile a safe distance from the house, and were finished halfway through day three. I still find scraps of shingles and nails in my garden and other landscaping, but don't know how they could keep every particle from escaping. Overall I was pleased with the work and my roof looks great."

"I thought I needed a whole new roof replacement but Motor City indicated I still have 4-5 yrs left, only a few blown off shingles on vent ridge so they came out and replaced and made sure all shingles properly adhered on the vent ridge. They were honest and could have quoted a full replacement. Will call them in 4-5 yrs for a full roof replacement quote. <br />"

"Tim came out and gave me a prompt estimate in August. Said he was very busy and could not squeeze me in until end of September. Waiting was okay with me - the repair was not urgent. He texted me the day before he came with two other workers. They removed the old blocks and replaced with new. Also put a new cap on the porch. They were finished the same day. Tim came back the next day to remove the forms for the cap. Looks great. I'mm have him come back in the spring and replace the steps. and a couple foundation windows."
