They dropped off the equipment one day before the project even though it had snowed the night before. The morning they came to do the roof, we still had ice on the roof, but instead of delaying the project, they scraped all of the ice off our roof and still got the whole roof done in one day! "Do you have home projects and looking for a great company? We know of one called Power Home Remodeling! This company surprised us with the way the process works. When you talk about smooth, no worries, and no guess work, wondering what’s going on; Power stripped all of that away with professionalism throughout the process from the initial consultation through material delivery, project installation and financing were easy. We had a total of five projects that started in January and completed in April. Our first project was getting a new roof. The crew came and worked from 0730 and completed the job at 1430. They had a crew of about 6-9 guys working on the roof. They cleaned up the area as they found it. The second project was the attic. They put this solar eclipse covering in the attic that regulates heat. Instead of the attic being very hot in the summer it will keep the temperature moderate. We are very pleased with the work and look of the roof and attic. The third project were the gutters! Man, these gutters are much larger in diameter than the original ones. I do not worry about ice buildup. The fourth and fifth project was the Foyer entry door and Half-moon window. This crew came on April 8, 2019 around 0830 and completed the job at 1600 hrs. We are very pleased with each project that was done with professionalism. We are so, elated that POWER did the work and completed it in a timely manner that we reached out to them for another project putting new patio doors in with automated shade. We are looking forward to them completing this project as the others with professionalism, care and dedication. I just hired a company to remove my existing shingle roof and replace it. Not only is the finished product of excellent quality, but the technicians were extremely diligent in making sure everything was done with precision. "I couldn't have been more pleased with Charm City Roofing. Home repairs, especially roof repairs were something I dreaded to think about. My experience with Charm City Roofing changed all of that. Starting with my point of contact Mac who did a WONDERFUL job explaining the process and providing a comprehensive step by step of how the installation of my replacement roof would be completed. My home currently has solar panels which needed to be removed before the installation of the new roof could begin, due to the slow response from the solar company this took over 4 months! "I would definitely contact William Mackay Roofing again! I was told by a different contractor who fixed some gutters, that I needed to have someone who knew how to fix flat roofs inspect my flat porch roof. After asking around, several people highly recommended contacting William Mackay. Brittany quickly scheduled for a technician to come out -- and the same day Mr. Mackay inspected my roof and emailed me the proposal. He answered all my questions (as did Brittany!) The work was scheduled quickly - and the installers/technicians completed the work in one day. Everything was cleaned up (old roof pieces, etc) afterwards. I was a bit wary about having anything done to my home with COVID-19 -- but everyone really seemed aware of social distancing. I was very happy with how streamlined this went, and how pleasant it was to work with William Mackay Roofing."

"A+ for ethics and professionalism. The repair on our old and non-standard roof was tricky and ultimately didn't last (roof leaked within 14 months). However, when the owner was contacted (he's busy so it took a while) he came out personally and arranged for an alternative fix to the roof. The owner, Dave Garner, did this at no charge, without being asked. We still don't know if we have a permanent solution but we're really impressed with Dave and the company's business practices. We would be pleased to use them for any future roofing repairs (although we hope we don't have any!)."

"Superb siding and gutter installation by a company that installed windows in our sunroom and a metal roof on the house. The crew, Jae, Freddy and Freddy Jr worked meticulously for 2 weeks to complete the job. They were very tidy and considerate of our property and koi pond. "My husband and I had a lot of questions and discussion with Robert before we made the choice to go with K&R Roofmasters. Robert was very patient and thorough in his presentation of what his company does when replacing a roof and in explaining our options. After his initial presentation, we had many questions before making the decision. (We had a previous bad experience with a different contractor when trying to obtain a roof estimate, so we were overly cautious.) All our questions and concerns were met with patient explanations. Robert was the ONLY contractor that went in our attic to inspect the roof from the underside before giving us an estimate.  When we made the decision to use K&R, we felt pretty confident that we would be satisfied.
Our roof was way past its lifetime. It was "potato chip" condition and there were leaks. Because our budget was straining from making this purchase, we were concerned about what would be discovered under the old roof shingles. Unfortunately, a lot of pieces of plywood had rot in it and had to be replaced. Robert's team checked every piece of our roof for structural integrity so only the pieces which were actually damaged would be replaced. This helped to save us money rather than just telling us it all had to be redone. Robert never tried to pressure us into doing unnecessary work which we really appreciated.
The team Robert used was a group of nice, hard-working, respectful men; Robert supervised and did some of the hands-on work. Everything was cleaned up well and the end result is a very well done, attractive roof with a power fan to keep our attic cool to help protect the shingles so they will last longer. We have gone through an entire winter with snow, ice, wind, and lots of rain and there has not been one leak or problem with our roof. Robert told me several times if we have any issues, call and he will tend to it and I'm sure he will, if needed.
Also, anytime I called the office, I had respectful and kind staff members help me.
I would highly recommend K&R and if I have a roofing need, I will be calling Robert!
