"With our rather old cabin-style home, the plumbing from the kitchen sink had a plug of hardened grease over 30 years old. We discovered this the first day when they drilled through it with a snake; we had them return a couple of days later with a hydrojet unit to clean it out. Our house is located in the mountains, and may not be particularly easy to get the equipment out here, but they had very little difficulty. They used a lengthy hose to go around the back of the house, then sent the nozzle through the pipe behind the trap to clear it out. I was originally concerned about navigating past the elbow joints in the pipe, and the fact that we have a septic tank that I didn't want to fill up; but neither was a problem, and the job was done in about an hour. The sound of the drain flowing never sounded so sweet."

"I noticed my water heater leaking late in the evening (Saturday night), and Sunday morning I reached out to Angie's List for a water heater replacement. I set my expectations that it probably wouldn't be attended to until the work week, but Jesus for Jess Plumbing responded within minutes. Checking with some of the big box stores, Jesus had extremely reasonable pricing that included the purchase of the water heater, labor for removing/installing, and hauling away the old one. After confirming pricing, he was at my home with the new water heater in hand within the hour. Once he arrived, he had a very warm and open attitude as he broke down all the steps that we'd be going through. he was very knowledgeable with the alternate methods of electric or tankless, and gave the pros/cons should I decide for an upgrade in the future. Throughout the install, I enjoyed our conversation very much and he didn't mind that I hung out in the garage while working on other projects. He moved with the intention that only comes with years of experience, deliberate and precise. When we had to shut off the water he communicated that ahead of time knowing that my family could possibly have a need to access it. Overall the whole process went incredibly smooth and would not hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him to a friend."

"Leo and Tony and Able are wonderful and amazing. They installed new shut off valves throughout the house and the main. New P-traps throughout, power washed all my decks and fixed two leaks on the second floor and repaired the ceiling. The most beautiful work was installing a new bathtub and tile surround. Able is an artist! Leo is so fair and honest and his team just works hard every minute they were at my house. Came when they said they would. Gave me updates. "Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Some plumbers have a minimum fee for a service call. They might charge anywhere from $175-250 to come out and give you a consultation. Plumbers may give you a general service rate of $128-148 per hour when there are a lot of unknowns about a project and they aren't sure how long it will take. Some charge a flat rate for their plumbing services. For example, you may get charged $175 for a sink or drain cleaning, while toilet installation costs $500." Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."

"I contacted Discover to ask for a quote in the morning and they responded with the best price and the shortest window to come over. They only had a one hour window as opposed to some other devices that have 4+ hours which they arrived as promised. Not only did a service tech arrive, but the manager as well. Both were extremely professional and assessed the problem before taking any action. They isolated it to the mainline and was able to run a commercial snake to have everything unclogged in less than an hour. Once everything was tested with the other water lines to make sure the problem was resolved they cleaned up the work area and hooked up the lines back to the washing machine. I can't express how much I would recommend this company for jobs big or small. I'll definitely be reaching out to them for service in the future."
