"It went fine, however, I was told the job would take roughly 8 hours for 1 person. It ended up being 15 hours, partly with a second handyman. So it was twice as much as we were expecting, and the price is already pretty high. Also, the second handyman brought an extra piece of siding that was not needed. We had already purchased a piece and had it painted, ready to install. So that was an unnecessary added expense. But I guess it's ok as we'll probably need it at some point in the future. What was really weird is that the same mistake happened when we had a piece of siding replaced a few years ago! Overall, they did a good job though, despite the cold weather."

"Derek, the son/nephew of the owners came to our house to give us an estimate.  He gave a very detailed presentation and was very knowledgeable out the process. We were very impressed.  The price and the quality were better than other providers that came to give us an estimate.  The roofers came about 2 weeks later  (would have been one week later except for the bad weather) and did our entire house in one day.  They did a great job cleaning up after themselves and only missed a few nails. We have had two heavy rainfalls since then without any problems. I am very pleased.

"Called Colmar to have leak repair on wall in living room. This led to finding leak in chimney/roof. When repair was being done, we were very much impressed with people on the job and the excellent work. This led to our extension of contract to have much needed work to be done on our home. All work has been professionally done and we are extremely satisfied with the completion of each project.
