"DE Turner and Son put a new roof after a freak hail storm. We got a new roof with gutters on my home. David gave me a very detailed estimate of the work. He outlined options in a way that was easy to understand. For example he explained the cost of replacing what we had, vs upgrading. We went for the upgraded options of architectural shingles with a better wear rating. This wasn’t an up sale, this was David’s decades of knowledge on products on the market. The upgrades were only about an 8% increase for twice the roof. His team descended on my home, did excellent prep on the site, and stared the roof. When they were done, they walked me through the work, and left the site just as they found it. The old gutters were removed and new, upgraded one, installed the following week. Roof looks great, we are very happy."

"Once again Wolfe, Mottola & Sons came through. I had a roof with some major wind damage resulting in leaks in a tenant's bathroom. It was the first time I had made a claim for a roof, and WM&S made it very easy. Linda was terrific setting it up, (even while she was on vacation!) and Todd answered all my questions along the way, again, very patiently and thoroughly. The CertainTeed Lifetime Landmark Pro Architectural Shingles look solid and come with a 10-year transferability warranty if you sell the property. I look at roofs now when walking around and the flashing, corners, ridge vents, bay windows, roof line, ... all of it looks solid with clean lines. "You get what you pay for. The Angies List deal was $999 for four rooms painted. Turns out this does not include ceilings and trim. I think this deal is intended for people who are tired of the color of their rooms and want to freshen things up. But if you want to have rooms seriously painted, it turns out it costs much more. We ended up paying $999 to have two rooms painted with ceilings included and a little more prep, and $200 for the trim, and $175 for the paint. So $1,375 for two rooms. The quality was ok, nothing great. One person did mud and dealt with other imperfections, the other painted. Two people, and 10 hours total, all in one day. In the end, the thing that bugged me the most were that they couldn't paint straight lines between walls and ceilings and walls and trim, and they didn't fix imperfections that wouldn't have taken much additional time to fix. The way you can tell a nice paint job is by the absence of errors, by straight lines. Nothing catches your eye. All you see is color and flat smooth surfaces. Talk is cheap, quality takes effort. To their credit, they threw in a few extras and they were conscientious and worked hard. So if you're not a demanding customer, they'll do fine. I guess I'm a demanding customer."

"Their installation team was incredible. Timely and finished earlier then anticipated. Gave the house great care in making sure rugs and floors were covered and all inside workers had protective gear around feet. Worked as a great team. Would definitely use them again."

"Unfortunately, Mr. Holdridge suffered an accident on another job before he was able to give me a bid or estimate for the job he assessed for me. After the accident, he never got back to me after several attempts to contact him. I wanted to see if his workers could do one of the projects which required minimal design and materials so I could place my above ground pool for my son's 21st birthday party. I would then wait for the rest of the projects until he recovered. I was so excited to work with him due to his design ideas matching so close to what I had in mind. I was so disappointed not to hear anything back from him. I have since searched out another landscaper for my projects, but it is difficult due to the late timing of the season. I began the process with Mr. Holdridge in April. I would hope to use him in the future, just hope we can have better communication.
