I called and he came out and give estimate. We called him back set date for removal. They came right on time. Did what we wanted done at the price he said, Did a nice job and did it right. We will hire him back when we need more tree work  done. He recycles all the wood and wood chips. Very nice and easy person to deal with. He is a pro, knows what he is doing so no worries about damage to house and barn.

"They cut off all of the branches that hung over my house and the dead branches. The salesman told me which branches should be removed, the man that cut them decided one of the branches that should have been cut off, shouldn't be because it looked better. That was in the fall, now that it's summer and the leaves are on the trees, that branch is hitting the boulevard tree. That was the reason it should have been cut off."

"I called Jim from this company after reviewing other companies on Angies List doing the same work.  Quotes for the stumping included removal of the tree remains and without their removal.  I decided to do the removal myself to save money and had 14 bags of tree shred to bag and remove (next time I will pay to have that done!). His quote was right in the ballpark with the stumping and said he could come out the same day of my call which worked out great, better than the other quotes. 

He arrived right on time same day and said he would honor the quote even though we found that the stump and roots would be extending way further than I thought they went.  He has a stumper that is worth watching work (from a distance!).  He was able to contain the remains from flying all over the yard and he took a reasonable amount of time to complete the work.  I was surprised how much there was to a tree and he stumped it down enough so now I can plant grass with no problem.  

We spoke after about the job and he insisted on honoring his original quote even though there was more work to do than I thought.  I told Jim I was an Angies List member and he said he would appreciate a review which I am quite happy to do.   "
