"After receiving several estimates from contractors to replace my screened porch ceiling (I had already removed the deteriorated plywood ceiling that was installed by the builder in 1992), I was put off by the estimates, ranging up to $5,000. At this point I contacted WT Anderson, who had replaced my roof a few years ago, hoping that they might do this type of work. Tom Anderson came by to see, assured me they do this type of work as it is really installing soffitt material, showed me some samples and subsequently provided an estimate of about $1,400. I selected a white vinyl beadboard. The ceiling also contained two skylights which needed to be trimmed out. The roofing and gutter work previously done by WT Anderson was superb and I had them go ahead and do the job. I subsequently asked them to replace the trim wrap around my garage doors (2) which brought the total cost to $1,740. I thought this was very fair. The two workers from WT Anderson showed up as scheduled, completed the job in one day and the installation went smoothly and looks great. With porch ceiling, they installed strapping to existing framing, plywood to box in the "tunnels" to the skylights, installed vinyl covered metal wrap around the top of the porch walls and then the vinyl beadboard. With the garage doors they removed the existing wrap, replaced two 2x6 framing pieces and then installed new brickmold where needed and new trim wrap around both doors. They were careful to seal all around to keep water out. The finished product looks great. The workers were polite, respectful of the our property and thoroughly cleaned up after completion of the work. Workers is not right word to describe Nestor and his helper, there were skilled craftsmen. WT Anderson will be my "go to" contractor for any outside work in the future."

"I contacted Home Advisors on 17 June 2020 requesting the name of a trusted roofing contractor that could provide us with a free estimate for a roof repair or a roof replacement. They provided United Roofing Corporation. Nathan Statz, from United Roofing Corporation, called us and arranged a convenient time to inspect our situation. Prior to Nathan arriving on site I had compiled a list of four or five areas that I considered most needed his specific inspection and indicated those to Nathan. Nathan said he would send me a contract for both a repair or a roof replacement. We opted for a repair of the four areas specified and he would have us placed on their schedule. Over the next few days, we changed our minds and decided rather than the repair of the roof we decided to select the roof replacement. I sent Nathan an email asking if it would be possible to cancel the repair and select the contract for the roof replacement. His company indicated to us they were willing to accept a contract modification without any legal ramifications. A date of 21 July 2020 was selected as the start date and to be completed within one or two days. On 21 July 2020 at 0620L (AM), their crew arrived and rang my doorbell asking if they were at the correct address that needed a roof replacement. Within ten minutes they were on our roof removing the existing roof shingles. After just over two hours they had revealed all of the roof decking and identified the water damaged, broken and split 1â x 6â boards that needed to be replaced. I was invited to climb-up and view what they were starting to replace. There were four to seven areas that probably took another hour or just over to complete the wood replacement. They cleaned the roof and started placing new paper and new shingles. The crew cleaned up around the house and removed any nails and old shingles that had fallen from the house because of their working. The replacement went smooth and I was satisfied with the completed job. I would recommend United Roofing Corporation to anyone that would require their professional services. "I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE letting them in the door. 
The 1st salesman was very friendly, and gave me a good education on what it would take to redo a 2,200 square foot roof.  I told him I was just trying to get an estimate of what to expect.  Roof needs replaced, but not dire.  Wanted me to finance, but I refused a credit option.  He continued to pushed, called his "boss", and seemed more concerned about "...it's the last day of the month...".  Trying to reach quota?  The initial estimate was $17,900, then after talking with the boss got dropped to $13,000.
The next day I received 4 calls from their area code and didn't pick up.  I then picked up an unknown number for another area code and it was them.  They wanted to offer to reduce the cost by eliminating all the "commission" because they wanted to crack into my neighborhood.  The second salesman would have to come back out and re-measure the roof.  I agreed, but have just read these reviews and CANCELED.  I did feel pressure.  If he does "show up", I'll let the pit bull bark at the door until he goes away!
