"Overall this project was a disaster. And it was never completed. After waiting over 13 weeks to get this bathroom shower project done (removal of tub and install new shower unit: sales indicated a one day job) the installers arrived (2/12) and did not finish the job. The next day, I received a call from the installer saying he could not finish the job and two new installers would finish the job. I called the project coordinator to find out what was going on. She knew nothing and said she would call back. An hour later I called her to ask what was going on and she indicated that the custom doors were not the correct size ordered (having waited months for this custom order). She indicated she would need to get back to me on when they would get a rush re-order. I spoke with their sales manager who had nothing to offer in the way of resolution or reassurance on this already horrible process. The new installers arrived late morning (2/13) and had to be introduced to the site. For the next 3 hours the installer re-installed a major portion of what the installer did the day before. He indicated walls were not square and the base was moving for the shower stall. They continued to work for five more hours. they damaged my front door, scratched the bathroom door, and chipped wall and doorframe paint. They put up a shower curtain for temporary use. I was put in contact with Chris Alexandre who said he would oversee the rest of the job. He informed me the corrected doors would take 3 weeks to arrive. He also agreed to take a discount off the project price due to all the problems and delays. At that time I paid them additional funds to the project and withheld funds for completion. He also said they would order a part to fix the damaged front door. I reached out again (3/6) about the status of the job and he indicated the doors were not in yet but that they would be coming out to fix the damaged door, The next day (3/7) another installer came but had the wrong part to fix the door. I reached out to Chris and he said he would have to look into what happened. A week later, I tried reaching out to Chris but he was not responding to phone calls or text messages or email. I tried to contact the owner, Josh Macmichael, and the office said he was a "silent owner" and I could not speak to him. On 3/15 I reached out to Chris one last time and he texted to say he no longer worked at the company and that he passed the job on to the owner Josh Macmichael, and that they would reach out to me on Monday. Monday late morning I called the office to speak to him and they said I could not speak to him. The office said the doors would arrive 4/14, another 4 weeks out. I said I did not accept this and demanded to speak to the owner. I told them he must call me. He finally called and knew very little about this whole process. He admitted he sub contracts workers. He asked me what I wanted at this point. I said to either get the job finished this week or since you already breached the contract I am terminating the project at this point. He called back and agreed to terminate the contract. This has been a horrible experience. The salesman promised things that were not attainable, the office staff did not communicate with installers, the installers were mostly non-English speaking so communication was difficult and I doubt they work for the company. I am looking to terminate all ties with this company. They do not belong on Angi's List."
