"We started out dealing with one of the sales reps John Fossetti. Great experience. He told us about the company, about the products, had samples and a huge selection of siding to choose from. He was very open and answered all of our questions. After several consultations with many companies we knew Beantown was for us. We scheduled siding replacement for our entire house as well as new window replacement for all windows - 24 of them and a new slider. They were very professional and their crew was excellent. The windows had all new construction around them and we got ProVia windows that carry a lifetime warranty. They removed all of the old siding, fixed any rotten or damaged areas, wrapped the entire house to waterproof it and hung new siding, trim, gutters and gutter guards. It turned out absolutely beautiful. Our house looks new again! Jim Ewell the project manager was great to work with. He was very supportive, professional and answered all of our questions. Both he and John were a pleasure to work with. Also, their office staff were very helpful as well. Beantown went above and beyond for us and were so reasonably priced. I highly recommend them! I would definitely use them again for any future projects!"

"The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house."

"Took down a dividing wall that required a new support beam. Initial wall demo and support beam done quickly. Issues started in the basement. Needed new posts in the basement. To do the work Scott had to cut out the concrete floor. Must have done this with a dry saw. Entire basement was covered in concrete dust. No attempt to cover anything was made including washer dryer and all stored items some of which was removed from upstairs to avoid the work in the living room. Pouring the concrete also left very uneven floor around the posts. Will have to be corrected if ever wanting to upgrade basement. Lastly the drywall repairs ceiling and some walls. Scott had to be told that the layers of mud needed to be sanded down to be considered paint ready as per our contract. Most was corrected but many corners and details left in poor condition His contractor for flooring was ok. Took 4 days longer due to double booking. Some wood slats were placed unevenly creating noticeable low and high pieces. Used Scott because he had an opening quickly but it was probably not worth it."

Dan followed up my phone call with a visit to inspect the barn on Monday.  He sent me an estimate via email later that day.  I gave them the go ahead and a large crew arrived, with dumpster, early Thursday morning.  We have horses and are very concerned about nails, as nail in an equine hoof is serious.  Also, part of the roof does not have a steep incline and Dan promised additional ice protection for that section.  It was a very gusty windy day and tarps, although weighted, still were flapping, along with bits of shingles, roof debris and paper.  By mid morning all shingles were off and barn room clear.  By 5:00 the promised ice protection and shingles were installed.   The yard was cleared of debris and they were continually running the magnet over the stone driveway and paddocks behind the barn to gather nails.  In spite of this we did find some nails late afternoon and within half an hour three workers returned, found a few more.   The next morning two workers finished the job, sweeping the barn loft of debris, and a few more nails.  It has been perfect since then.  A good job, done quickly and professionally.
