My new unit was installed this morning by two technicians who worked efficiently and who kept me in the loop about the new equipment, thermostat, warranty, and FAQs. They were polite, neat & tidy. Well recommended."

John also owns Advanced Plumbing Services, so I am splitting this review between the two companies, since they were both onsite. As far as the plumbing work, they relocated all of the water, drain and vent lines to new location in laundry room. While they were here I also had them install a new dishwasher. All work went very well with no issues at all."

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

Carol was meticulous and very conscientious about getting some mold residue abated and the painted. Adam was detail oriented and was patient with our MANY questions concerning the installation of our balcony door. He made several constructive suggestions concerning perfecting the aesthetics both inside and out. We have hired Chad and his team to complete a larger scale job. Chad isn’t trying to make bank on this one job. His economic suggestions to save on each aspect of the job is much appreciated. He WILL work within your state budget and is very honest about his estimates. We look forward to working him on other projects."
