"He finished the roof but did not tell me about the error in his workmanship. He did not finish the whole work. Update 12/22/2021: He finished the roof and said he fixed the problem, he showed me how he was to complete the repairs and after it was complete the work was not done in the manner he said he would do it. A new problem was noticed with the shingles and they are overhanging on a peak of the roof and are not attached and will blow off with high winds. The second part of the job, to put two sides on the shed was not done properly, he is charging me to come out to fix it, which is ridiculous, that is why contractors put that in their estimates. He was going to come out on a Saturday but change to Friday since it was going to rain on Saturday, when he called me and by the time he arrived on the job site it would be dark, I told him I did not want him to work in the dark with a flashlight. he keeps giving me excuses on why he cannot come out on certain days for personal reasons. The job should have been completed in October, except for his constant excuses for not being able to come out. If the problems are not resolved by the end of the year I will escalate this by other means."

"Needed driveway sealed and was quoted a price immediately. The job was contracted out by the company. The sealer came and did the work as promised, however afterwards there were still a lot of cracks left in the driveway. I called Johnston and he gave me the contractor's direct cell number. I called him and he said he would come out and seal it with a different sealer when it got warmer. This was about 3 months ago, and have not heard from him since (despite a few texts and phone calls). So I will need to find another contractor to fix the original issue."

"Hired them through Select Home Warranty. Told me I had to pay for additional parts not covered by the warranty. Nearly three months later, after paying for the parts, they still tell me that they are waiting for the parts. I think they are lying. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office and contacting 6ABC consumer help. Might even get my niece involved at this point. And yes she is a lawyer and a Consumer Protection Lawyer at that. This would be right up her alley...stay away from these guys. They take your money, promise to call but never do and leave you hanging. "

"I had a water leak that damaged my living room ceiling. He came out, cut out the drywall to determine the source of the leak. Then repaired the pipe, replaced the ceiling drywall and painted. He was fast and thorough. Now you can’t tell where the ceiling was damaged. He did a great job. I highly recommend him."
