"We had a 25 year old deck 14X16 I final had to give in and have it replace with a New Patio...Silvers Concrete was priced fairly...They used a drone to get overhead of my backyard which helped my see the new patio in place before the old deck was removed...Very helpful...Silvers removed the old deck and replaced it with a new 20X20 Patio with curved front and two wedding cake steps...What a bunch of hard working guys on the crew we had...I spent the whole day watching and asking a few questions...Everything was done First Rate...Started At 9AM Finished At 7PM.Day One...Old deck gone and hauled away...New patio and steps framed, poured, and smoothed in to shape...All trash and construction burden gone...Came back the next day spent 2 hours Backfilling and Reinforcing the outside edge of the concrete and then seed the whole area...Best Group of Concrete Guys I've Ever Worked With...I'm not a Pro but over the years I've had concrete work done...around 5 or 6 times... "We used Metzger's before, and were happy with them, although they were a little pricey. This was in October, several years ago, and the service was very quick. This year, due to work demands, my asthma, (and the fact that my husband and I are very bad at gardening), we decided to hire them again. I called for an estimate at the end of April/beginning of May, when I knew we would have the funds. I received an estimate on May 5, and agreed to it around May 7-8. I was aware that I had made arrangments a little late in the game, and realized that there would be a wait. I also realized that any bad weather would knock us back, and that we were a small job. That being said, I didn't really think that it would be nearly August before anyone showed up. Unfortunately, my job was such that I couldn't do a lot about our yard in the meantime, and so this wait became somewhat frustrating. I was tempted to call in someone else, but felt that that would be violating an oral contract, and a little unfair. I called 3 times over this period, and always received a call back. Once the crew showed up, however, they were fast, polite, and did a great job. I would hire them again, and recommend them, but with the caveat that for seasonal work, it's best to make arrangements early in the season. I may use someone else for time-sensitive jobs. <br />"

"MR. COUCHMAN WAS REFERRED TO ME BY ANOTHER COMPANY I HAD DO SOME WORK IN MY HOME. HE IS LICENSED, BONDED AND INSURED, AND HE GUARANTEES HIS WORK. HE DOES JUST ABOUT EVERY KIND OF WORK ON A HOME, INSIDE AND OUT. HE WORKED ME IN TO AN ALREADY BUSY DAY WITH ONE DAY''S NOTICE. HE WAS LEAVING ON VACATION THE NEXT DAY, AND WANTED TO BE SURE I DIDN''T HAVE ANY MORE LEAKING WHILE HE WAS AWAY. HE FIXED THE CAUSE OF THE LEAK, THEN WENT OVER THE ENTIRE ROOF TO CORRECT THE SAME ISSUE ON ALL OTHER SHINGLES IN THE VALLEYS, SINCE THIS HAD NOT BEEN DONE BY THE BUILDER THREE YEARS AGO. HE WILL COME BACK WHEN HE RETURNS FROM HIS TRIP TO REPAIR THE INSIDE CEILING WHERE THE LEAK CAME THROUGH. WITH A MINIMUM FEE FOR COMING OUT AND DOING WORK, HE DIDN''T HAVE TO GO OVER THE WHOLE ROOF LIKE HE DID. HE CHARGED ME NO MORE THAN THE MINIMUM. THE WORK IS GUARANTEED, AND HE SEEMED A VERY FINE, HONEST AND COMPETENT PERSON TO HAVE IN MY HOME. I RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY FOR ANY TYPE OF WORK."

"Came out and gave us an estimate and what we could do as far as finishes within the budget that I set.  I told him that I had a certain dollar amount, and I wanted the largest size that I could get for that dollar amount, not a penny more. <br /> Came and poured the patio a week later, exactly when he said he would, and stayed exactly on my budget.  I actually got way more than I thought I would for the money.  The finish was beautiful, it is extremely well done, and he even did a few other minor details in order to ensure that as the concrete settled over the years it would not crack, etc.  Looks fantastic and we are definitely enjoying our new patio. <br />"

"The whole process started about a year ago when we had water in our basement after a heavy rain.  Not knowing who to call, we called Honey Creek Contracting.  They immediately sent someone out because they could hear the panic in my voice and they were on a job site close to us.  When they came out, they fully understood how we got the water in the first place and what needed to be done to correct the issue.  At that time, they gave us a "patch job" to get us through until we could have the entire roof replaced.  Prior to receiving this water in our basement, we had approximately four other roofing contractors out to diagnose the problem.  We heard everything from, "there is nothing wrong" to "it is your guttering."  After changing the guttering, and that did not help, we were back to square one, that is until HCC came out. <br /> <br /> Fast forward to today, HCC has been on the job now for four days.  Our anticipated completion date is August 25, 2011.  You might think that is extremely too much time to put on a roof, but let me tell you, these guys have encountered just about everything that can go wrong!  Jack & Tom will NOT cover up something that needs to be redone.  They take their time and do it right the first time.  They understand that the Manufacturer's warranty that I recieve completely depends on how they do the installation and they will not let you down.  When taking off the old roofing, they found that some genius had not used any nails or screws to install our soffit and facia boards.  So, when they removed the roofing and got to the drip edge, everything else came tumbling down and it was that way all around our house!  Instead of covering up the issue and moving on, HCC has rebuilt the soffit boxes, replaced the facia boards and will be installing new soffit vents!  They will absolutely NOT cover up someone else's work, if it is not done to HCC's rigorous standards.  They are pulling off our old siding to make sure the roof will drain properly and not get behind the siding and cause our water problem again. <br /> <br /> If you want someone to come in, do the work, and get out, Honey Creek Contracting and Jack Denny is probably not your best option.  They do not leave until the job is completed and completed correctly.  In talking it over with my wife (and Jack does not know this yet), when it comes time to redo our kitchen, he is our man!  There is not going to be any shopping around for contractors, it is going to be Honey Creek Contracting!  Jack and Tom Denny will always be welcome at our house!"
