"I had a broken sliding patio door that I was struggling with trying to open & close! I am 62 yrs old, disabled & recently my position w/the Company I worked for after 11 years, eliminated the Department I worked in. I kept putting off this repair due to finances. Also, afraid that the door may be in such bad shape I would need a new one, which I really couldn't afford! Otto's Carpentry to the rescue! The door got so bad that I really could hardly open/close it so I needed to get it fixed! I went on Angie's & Chad immediately called me. I didn't even have to wait, he was here bright & early next day! If it was an emergency, he would even have come out that night,(and it was later p.m. already), if he had to! Being an older door, he set the expectation that it may not even be able to be fixed! Well, he worked his "magic" & the door is good as new! He even put a new handle on as the old was 1/2 broke right off & missing the lock! He made it so the blinds on the inside of the glass worked again AND he fixed a piece of the wood trim that was falling off(without me even asking)! I hadn't asked him to do that as I knew that would raise the price & I didn't have any extra $'s. Let me tell you...he is fair & affordable! He is a "old school" hard worker, works long hours & even weekends! He is knowledgeable & will do the job right...no short cuts here! I think he knows how to do just about anything & he will let you know if the repair is worth it, good or bad & the issues that could possibly arise! He is honest, real, down to earth & no BS! You can't find a harder, more dedicated or experienced worker! A+++ rating for Chad, I would trust him w/ any job I need done AND would highly recommend him to anyone! "We hired Brian to waterproof our basement last year but this year, we received a heavy rainstorm that created massive flooding around the area. Everything Brian waterproofed was bone dry but there was an exit door entry way that we never even considered waterproofing. The door held back most of the water but it managed to get in through the cracks of the door. 

I contacted multiple companies that night and the next morning, but Brian was the only one who responded back first thing in the morning. He agreed to meet us at our house to assess the problem, and we appreciated that he arrived quickly. After evaluating multiple options, Brian told us that we needed a sump pump and drain tile installed to permanently fix this problem. He initially scheduled us for the next Monday, but after understanding our urgency, he bumped us up to the next day. The workers arrived when he said they would, and the work was completed the same day in the afternoon. Thank you to Brian and his company for being so accommodating, being there when we needed him, and completing the work promptly.

After some heavy rains, we noticed that we were still getting some seepage in our "waterproofed" basement. After contacting Brian (for our lifetime warranty or whatever), he said he would come out. He then proceeded to cancel/make an excuse the next 3-4 appointments. Then he just stopped responding to emails/calls. We're very disappointed because we really liked Brian. Now we have to open the walls to see where the seepage is coming in and call someone else to seal them."

"We returned home from vacation to find cracks in drywall in two rooms. We had used Mudslingers in the past. Chris came over the next day and worked us into his schedule a couple of days later. The drywall was not loose or otherwise damaged. The crew mudded and taped then came back to sand and do final mudding. After it dried and was sanded they matched the texture and paint so well that it is impossible to see the repairs. They were courteous and professional at all times. They carefully moved furniture and put down plastic to protect floors and carpet. They even removed their shoes when entering the house to avoid tracking in snow and dirt. Everything was carefully cleaned up when they finished. Great job!

"They were great. I recently opened my new suite and needed flooring that wouldn’t ruin the base boards and the carpet. They did just that. They finished in a day and some hours. Also I needed them pretty last minute and he came asap and started working on the floors. It looks amazing. Highly recommend."

"At the end of the inspection I was positive that I was not going to use him. He gave me like a huge laundry list of things that needed to be done. After he was finished he said that it would cost me $15000. There was no way all of this going be $15000. It was like these little things he tarried about because he wanted to get paid as the coupons were so cheap. He had no suggestions about minimum cost. The thing about him was he did not give us any options, everything he gave was for us to do things. There are always levels of priority and I did not get anything at all from him."

"Great! They spent 2 days repairing a poor roofing job that lead to our leaking and a several nests of wasps invading house. They also did a great job cleaning our gutters this spring.

They will be returning next spring for another issue we need addressed.

"I have worked with contractors in the past but, never had such kind, courteous, punctual, and patient young men as Jovon and Jeremy. They worked with me on the situation I was in. My neighbor was going to install my storm door for free but he ended up in a cast due to a work injury. So now I'm stuck. I contact Angi to get some Quotes. Jovon set up the appointment. Arrived on time. Just toward the end of the install we discover I had ordered the door to wide I had a 36" and I needed a 32". So then I went online to find the right door. Jovon and Jeremy gave me another appointment for the next day, They arrived at 10 AM and went out of their way to take me back to Menards to exchange the door. I Will RECOMMEND these wonderful guys to every one I hear of that needs work done. Jovon and Jeremy I Thank you for doing a great job at an affordable price. ."

"Things started very slowly for us, because of constant rain in the beginning and then one or two of the guys were out sick or injured (not work related). But, once things got under way, everything went really well. First of all, our house is three stories tall and the garage is not attached, also the homes in this neighborhood are quite close to each other, so there wasn't a lot of space on the sides of the house for working. The stucco work made it so that you couldn't even see where the patching and repairs were. And, the painting is just beautiful. We needed some gutters replaced and they even cleaned out gutters which were not part of the job or contract. While the work was being done, there was stuff all over the yard, but at the end of each day it was all cleaned up and piled nicely. Bruce and his guys were very courteous and friendly. Whenever we brought up anything that we felt needed doing, they always took care of it. They never gave us some reason why it couldn't be done. As the work went along we discovered that a ceiling had fallen down in a sleeping porch that we just used for storage. It turned out that water was coming in from poor roofing that had been done years before. After first trying to calk it and finding out that didn't work, we had Bruce repair that section of the roof. So that was a completely separate job and the room is now dry and being brought back into working order. We were so happy with the exterior painting that we have now gone ahead to have some interior rooms redone (the walls torn out and replaced and painted.) The one bedroom that has been done is so beautiful that everyone now wants that to be their room. We went beyond what we had planned to do, so we are having to come to an end here, but we will definitely be getting Bruce back to do further work in the future."
