For my more extensive work, they showed up early and stayed until the end of the day, and came back until they were finished with the project. I had a prior contractor charge me a lot to supposedly fix my leaking flat roof (so they just don't do slate) and 2 years later, it was leaking again. Stefan from Rustic Slate said the fix was just temporary, so the flat roofed was repaired again and this time the right way.
