"Marquis Tree Service was great from start to finish on this big job. John Marquis came out to scope the work, calculated the price on the spot, and tagged the trees that needed to be removed. A few trees were within the wetland buffer zone, so John wrote an excellent, detailed letter to our Conservation Commission to get approval for the removal. I had to be out of town the day they were scheduled to take down the 13 tall pines near our house, and I was worried about not being there to deal with issues, but John assured me all would be well. He called me that morning before they started the job, called me during the job to discuss taking down one more tree that hadn't been tagged initially, and confirmed when the work was done. I expected some damage to the lawn or driveway, but when I got home the only evidence that the crews had been there was the missing trees. I've used two other tree services over the past 20 years, and Marquis wins. They have the right equipment for the biggest jobs, the office staff is responsive, the crews work carefully and efficiently, the owner knows his stuff (he holds degrees in forestry and is a certified arborist), and (surprisingly) their price was competitive. I'd trust them with the biggest/trickiest jobs."

"David (the owner) was very professional. He knocked on my door and spoke with me about some branches he noticed over my roof. I had been thinking about getting the trees trimmed anyway so I let him give me an estimate. I decided to also get a few trees removed that had been bothering me. He suggested trimming the lower branches of a couple other trees. He was very knowledgeable about trees in general and gave me a few options in terms of work and payment.
At first I was hesitant to work with him as he looked fairly young. He said he has been doing this for about 10 years and just recently started his own company. Based on his knowledge of the profession and the quality of work done I'd say that seems accurate.
He showed up when he said he would and did a wonderful job. Overall I was very happy with the work.

"Joel Bonenfant and crew took down a tree that was 50-60 feet tall in my small back yard. It was a big job and they had no trouble at all. The tree was down in an hour. They had the tree cut up and limbed in another hour. I was very satisfied with the work they did. They were very professional, safe, and timely in getting the job done. "The truck was here on time as scheduled. He would not dump the mulch in the yard because they company had a problem with their truck sinking into a leeching field. I told him that our field was out back but he said he couldn't put it anywhere except in the driveway, which I understood. It just made it a bit more difficult for me to carry it over to where I needed it. Other than that the product was excellent and it lasted at least three years before I needed to replace it. I would definitely use their products again."

"I called Keith's for an estimate and they arrived that day.  They gave me the most competitive price and seemed quite eager to want to do the job for me.  Additionally, they not only have a crane to assist in tree removal but have a smaller one that can more easily fit in tighter spaces, which is an issue for my property.
All the trees were cleanly, carefully and efficiently removed from their spots.  If I wasn't home at the time, I wouldn't have known they were there to do the work.  I also had two of the stumps ground out which was done one week later due to the weather.  That work was also very clean an efficient.
Keith's proved to me that I made the right choice and would not hesitate calling them again if I decide to have more of the trees on my property removed.
