"I've used DiGiorgi a lot while living in my parents' house: roof, siding, gutters, bathroom remodel. I bought a house myself which needed some work and got an estimate from Dave. When my parents had their work done, DiGiorgi didn't do garage doors. What a shame. They had a horrible time with the installation of two doors and one opener (one door is operated manually). The rest of work is yet to be scheduled, so I will review each "project" separately. Today the door and opener were installed by Jeff (who came previously to measure) and Ed. They came 15 min early (I expected this, having used their services before) and the whole project took from about 7:45 am until about 3:30 pm or so. The guys were great: friendly, professional, neat, knowledgeable....they even swept up when done! The door itself is like a piece of furniture. So different from the cheap, uninsulated doors my parents got. The garage was actually getting warm once the door was closed (garage is attached to the house) and the temperature was in single digits in the morning. The LIftMaster opener is beyond belief: it's so quiet that I didn't even know it was operating. Again, quite different compared to my parents' opener. The products were obviously of very high quality and the installation was clean and neat and everything worked and looked great at the conclusion of the day. The whole house literally looks 80% better with the addition of this door. I look forward to completion of the rest of the improvements we have yet to schedule (snowstorms have disrupted things) in the upcoming months. <br />"

"Excellent - Dave and his team professional and straight forward. From the initial meeting and all the follow-up questions, everything was thoroughly explained. He worked with us and kept us informed every step of the way. We visited his showroom to take a detailed look at the windows that would be installed (full size vs. sample). They worked hard to ensure they started and completed at the initial time that was committed. Smitty and Tom were very professional answering all my questions while they installed. All 15 windows were installed on the first day and all the trim was completed the second day. They cleaned up each day before they left. Finally the price of the job was very reasonable. We were very impressed from start to finish. My wife and I have shown the work to friends and family and family. We plan on using A-1 when its time to replace our front door and storm doors. "After seeing their product at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show we were convinced that this was the right product for our porch improvement work. The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered. <br /> <br /> We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. Everything went smoothly and contractor commented on how easy the windows went in. <br /> <br /> After three full seasons of use we still enjoy the product and we're pleased that we chose this as part of our porch renovation. It has added several additional months to our porch usage in our short Minnesota summer seasons. I highly recommend this product for any new screen porch or porch renovation job!"

"The carpenter was excellent - he completed everything and more. He even replaced some of the shingles attacked by the woodpecker on the outside of the house. If I need a carpenter again, I would definitely have him come back! The other young man was also good -- he did a nice job with the sheet rock but the plaster was protruding a bit even after we sanded it down. He was not able to place the radiator cover over the heating system in the bathroom but to his defense, I don't believe that was in his job description or area of expertise. Overall, we were pleased and Tracy was very friendly and made me feel at ease with all of my questions."
