"It could not have gone better. We recently bought a new place that had very old carpeting covering half the house. Although it is very hard to provide an estimate of refinishing floors when you don't know what is under the carpet, Mike was true to his estimate and his crew completed the job right on time. As with any job, there were some unexpected issues that needed to be addressed. Mike's team, and George in particular, were able to fix the problems (namely, wood HVAC vents and floor molding) at a very reasonable price. The best part of the job was that the master staircase was previously carpeted and was in pretty bad shape. After pulling up the carpet, Mike gave us some options on how to refinish and/or paint the stairs and risers. We had them refinish the stairs and risers (which cost a little extra), but now the stairs are a showpiece in the house. We couldn't be happier with the work that Mike did for us. We have now used him twice and would use him again in a heartbeat."

"Alex and his team are EXPERTS. They came in and repaired a concrete substrate that another contractor had damaged and badly repaired before re-laying engineered hardwood flooring. Smoothing/leveling the substrate was a difficult job. It was made even more difficult because the new flooring had to meet existing flooring in two highly visible places. The workmanship and quality is unsurpassed. Alex treated our project as though it was his own home. Executed perfectly. Professionalism at its best. They were very flexible in doing whatever I wanted and did a fabulous job. Price was very acceptable. They warned me about the odor of the standard wood coating and it was extemely harsh as warned. If I did hardwood refinishing again, would probably opt for the no odor coating. Was done in a middle floor of an apartment building and both the floor above and below found it to be extremely odorous...especially since it was winter time and could not ventilate easily."
